Don't worry, Snoinkus, most people will only read it if it has the f-word in it...:wink:

That is a good point, though, about how the protagonist is usually the loner with no strings attached. Characters aren't convincing without people who care about them.

If we didn't have people who loved us, we'd all become selfless martyrs or commit suicide. Without some conflict with family members and loved ones, that's entirely possible- but that only happens in rare instances. Show me the conflict as it's happening.
