Oh, Heller is very, very funny. We'll have to discuss when you've finished...

I'm reading a book that hardly anyone has heard of called 'Tina Come Home' by Paul Geraghty. It's great as an easy read.

Right now I'm reading a perfectly marvelous book called 'Hope was here.' I admire the style so much! Anybody else read it?

Yes, I've read it! It was sweet!!

Memoirs of a Geisha, by Arthur Golden.

I just picked it up on a whim the other day, but I haven't been able to set it down since. It's pretty much fascinating.

I loooooove Memoirs of a Geisha!

Right now I'm reading The Stranger. I've read it before and it's one of my favorite books. :)

I've just started Pawn of Prophecy, the first book of The Belgariad. I've heard so much about it, I was eager to find out what I was missing.

The Historian. I just started it last Saturday, and I have like...250 pages left. I haven't read it in a few days cause of school X_X I need to hurry and finish it!

It's actually pretty good. More historical suspense than vampire-blood-sucking, but it's still cool.

I actually just reread Love That Dog (Sharon Creech), Leon's Story (Leon Tillage) and Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry (Mildred Taylor) this week for my children's literature class. Leon's Story is sad, but it took me like thirty minutes to read and it was hard to get into. Love That Dog is about the same in reading time, and hard to pick a point out of. Roll of Thunder was good, as it was the first time, but you have probably all read it so I won't explain ;)

As soon as I get a little free-reading time I'm going to finish Forever Lily by Beth Nonte Russell...which is written in present tense and kind of getting on my nerves...but I will finish! hehe.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. So far, rather creepy, but interesting. Not too difficult to get through. I finally finished Catch-22 which was superb.

And Sam, I think some of Heller's writing is rather genius. The T.S. Eliot part was hilarious. XD

The Amber Spyglass. I haven't read it yet, shame on me. I like it a lot better than The Subtle Knife so far, mainly because TAS has Iorek Byrnison, my favourite character, in it. I also didn't care much for The Subtle Knife because (spoiler for thos who haven't read it) Lee Scoresby died :( . He was my other favourite character too.*pouts* Anyways, I'm really liking this one.

Oh, but if you like Lee Scoresby, then... *prevents self just in time from revealing huge spoiler*

All I can say is Spyglass is some of the heavier reading of the three, but has some of the most... interesting scenarios. I loved the bit with the Mulefa and Mary Malone. Anyways, happy reading!!
