What are you reading at the moment?

I'm supposed to be reading Bad Boy and Monster by Walter Dean Myers.

Has anyone read them and wants to give me a short synopsis of the plot so I don't have to read them by tuesday???? I would love you forever.

At the moment: Re-reading the Fellowship of the Ring (for the third time now - I'm not a slow reader (though I started it back in September) it just isn't my top priority read (it's really an annual ritual); and then there's my life );

Drina, a Croatian nationalist editorial (published from Madrid, Spain by mostly Croatian immigrants, and many of those are former members of the Croatian facist Ustash) this issue is number 3, published in 1964 (I found it on the bookshelf down here, so far its interesting, and fairly biased in some parts [duh] ^_^;;);

Beowulf Yes! For the second time!

The Idiot By our beloved Fyodor Dostoevsky! I can tell you now, I admire The Idiot, and I feel very in-tune with him. No surprise there...(I'm called an idiot oft times );

And we are reading Macbeth for English.

The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman of course. We are reading it in my literature class, and i'm almost done with it. I just bought The Subtle Knife yesterday so I can dive straight into it when I finish.

"Pride and Prejudice" and still haven't finished "Rebecca". And "Gulliver's Travels". I'll start that tonight.

The Magician's Nephew of the Chronicles of Narnia series...I just finished The World According to Garp, so I figured I'd offset it with some easy reading. I want to read this entire series, anyway.

Nearly finished with Salomé by Oscar Wilde. I've been reading a collection of his plays.

To follow it, The Plague by Camus. I read half way through it a while ago, and then moved on to something else. Camus doesn't exactly strike me as amazing by no means, but I have yet to finish it and I am "in between" books. I wait for Vile Bodies and The Decline and Fall to show up...

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. It's my papy's copy, and it's pretty old. And there's a lump of unidentified much on the back cover...

Not Scalzi's book? lol. Scalzi has a book out called "The Android's Dream". I'm in the middle of "The Phantom Tollbooth"

The Early Victorians by J. F. C. Harrison
The Girlhood of Queen Victoria 1832-1840 [Vol. 1] by HRH Queen Victoria (excerpts from her diary).
The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan

...should I go on? LOL. I have a terrible habit of starting one book and then moving on to another. Plus some of them are background for my coursework (although completely fascinating and entirely voluntary) ^_^
