It's that time of year again; to make up a New Years Resolution that you are fully committed to, only to toss it away come January 2nd. So for 2006, what resolutions will you be making?
My toss-aways will be to get into shape and make better grades. I'll give up exercising within a week, because I hate it, and my grades will stay where they are.
But I do intend to get published within the next year. *knocks on wood*
Got YWS?

For '06, my primary res is to increase my study and organizational skills in order to boost my below-average grades. It's amazing how little I actually cracked open a textbook and truly studied last semester, and I paid heavily.
I'm not in perfect shape, but in the long run, two letter grades' worth of improvement in my academics is preferable over a few pounds of weight lost.
To meet TBR so put that as other
That me new years resolution, i would put to stop fiddling, but i won't last one second with that.
We get off to the rhythm of the trigger and destruction. Fallujah to New Orleans with impunity to kill. We are the hidden fist of the free market.
We are the ink, we are the quill.

Personally my resolutions (only dont tell them I call them that, otherwise they'll run a mile!) are to start keeping a diary (this one has been done...or not done...before), to write more, to start reading - and studying - my way through that enormous collection of classics that is cluttering up my bookshelf, read more literary criticism, remain faithful to YWS and to improve my study skills so that I dont fail my uni courses. Whew! Naturally only about 1/3 will ever be thought of again after this moment...
*backs away slowly* yeah... have fun with that... I think I've just thought of a new resolution: stay out of the way of those trying to take over small (or rather large) countries.

It's all in proportion to ambition. Lets just say, hypothetically of course, that my aim is to eventually take over the world and any future settlements on the moon. Well then, countries like Canada or China would be small beans. I think Zelithon's plan is similar to that.
My own New Year's Resolution is just to finish my book. I'm hoping to have it done by March, spend a couple months revising it, then publish it one way or another (I'll do it myself if I have to).
