I met Jonathan Auxier (Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes), D.J. MacHale, and Brandon Mull at a local event my area holds every year called the Cavalcade of Authors. It was epic, and Auxier did yoyo tricks during his talk.
"I've got dreams like you--no really!--just much less, touchy-feeley. They mainly happen somewhere warm and sunny on an island that I own, tanned and rested and alone surrounded by enormous piles of money." -Flynn Rider, Tangled
I've actually met quite a few authors, (there's Ellie Marnie, Will Kostakis, Allyse Near, Amie Kaufman, Melissa Keil, Simmone Howell, Vikki Wakefield, Barry Johnsberg and a few others) but they're not necessarily well known unless you're into Aussie YA... So, I'm a kinda-sorta-maybe.
I've only met one author, Cassandra Clare, at a book signing for the release of Clockwork Princess. It was great. I walked up to her, she smiled and asked how I was, and I choked on my words and walked away in shame. Haha
Let's see... -Brandon Sanderson: Signing - Michael Grant: Another signing - Steven Erikson: Signing of the damned - George RR Martin: (With Robin Hobb. If you look at the youtube video I'm in it! Teehee!) - Patrick Rothfuss: Costco. I never get any proof... :/
Deb Fitzpatrick!! C: I got to have a conversation with her ^^
Dorian, are you the one adding all the spices to our food? Of course I am. Why? Because frankly the food here tastes like poorly cooked sawdust. It genuinely tastes how Solas looks.
