Young Writers Society

For my super-humongous research paper for AP Lang & Comp, I have chosen to write about why English programs are important in schools and why they should receive more emphasis. Basically, it seems that science and math are getting more attention in America because the U.S. is falling behind countries like China and India in areas like engineering. But I want to stress that reading, writing, and communication skills are equally, if not more, important because they apply to all areas of life.

If anyone knows of an organization, a website, or a book that would help me, I'd really appreciate it!
