This is for Snoink's bad writting contest. I hope you like it (do I mean don't like it?)!
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She had long golden hair, sapphire eyes, creamy skin, and rose coloured lips. Everyone loved her because she was the kindest, most perfect person in the entire kingdom. Her name was Princess Angel, because that’s what she was, an angel. Her Father and Mother—the beloved King and Queen—knew that as soon as she was born.
“Oh how precious!” the Queen said when she was born.
“Perfect!” the King added.
“An angel!” they both exclaimed together.
The next kingdom over had an evil ruler, and he was very mad to hear of this princess. He sent over his evil knights in disguise of the noble knights, to watch this princess grow up, because even though they’re evil they know that is it wrong to kill a child.
Every morning when the princess woke up, she would walk to the garden. All the animals in the kingdom would surround her and they would talk, laugh, and sing songs together. Then she would go feed and talk to the poor, sometimes helping them do their housework, but the people often didn’t let her because she was so delicate.
Princess Angel was now eighteen, and she was starting to look for a suitable husband. The King let her marry for love, rather than forcing her into an arranged marriage, because he adored her so much. All the men in the kingdom were in love with her, and it was hard to choose from so many kind, noble and trustworthy people.
The evil kingdom knew that it was time for them to get the princess. The evil knights switched to their own armour and burst into the princess’ room.
“Come with me, Your Highness, Princess Angel!” said one of the knights.
She turned around and uttered a perfect gasp, more like a sweet sigh, and immediately fainted, landing softly on her bed. The evil knights carefully picked her up and took her to the evil kingdom. They locked her into a tower, but didn’t kill her, because they knew that it was wrong to kill a girl.
A few hours later she woke up, and after realizing where she was, she walked to the window and began to sing. Her song was heard throughout both kingdoms.
Great wailing was heard from the princess’ kingdom, as they cried along with her sweet honey voice. The sun did not shine, and clouds soon formed to cry their bitter tears.
“So sad and beautiful a song!” said one of the evil knights, regretting the capture of Princess Angel. A tear rolled down his cheek.
All the evil knights gathered together at the bottom of her window and wept.
“Forgive us Princess, forgive us!” they cried out.
And of course the princess forgave them. Then she started to throw money down at her new found friends, who she grew to love instantly.
Then one day, the noblest of the noble knights decided to save the princess from her tower. He jumped onto his brave white steed and rode to the evil kingdom. A fire breathing dragon was there to meet him, so the knight started to chat with him.
“Yeah, so uh, how long have you been doing this job?” the knight asked the dragon.
“You mean guarding towers? Well, they gave it to me after my dad was slayed, so I’d say about twenty years, give or take a few.”
“No kidding. My mother was a dragon and she kinda did that as a part time job before she had me.” The knight said.
“Really? You don’t look dragon at all.” said the dragon.
“Yeah, I get that a lot. My dad was human and I got all of his traits.” said the knight.
“Interesting. I noticed that you’re wearing some pretty nice armour, where’d you get it from?” said the dragon.
“You wouldn’t believe the sales they have going on at Winners right now.” said the knight.
“Cool, I’ll have to go check it out.” said the dragon.
“I gotta run. it was nice talking to you.” The knight said.
“See ya later!” said the dragon.
Then, the noble knight ran up the stairs to the top of the tower and went into the room where Princess Angel was.
“I have come to save you, my princess!” He said as he walked towards her.
“Oh, my knight in shining armour has come at last! Look, while I was waiting I embroidered some handkerchiefs for you! ” Princess Angel said.
“They are as beautiful as you are!”said the knight
He threw the rope he had out the window, and together they climbed down the tower.
The white steed and some other mare were gazing into each other’s eyes.
“Oh how lovely!” sighed Princess Angel.
The four of them rode back to kingdom.
“I love you, Princess Angel” said the noble knight when they reached the castle.
“I love you, too.” said the princess and they fell into each other’s arms.
They were married the next day. The whole kingdom rejoiced. The sky was so happy that it opened up to let gold coins drop down. The evil king was so happy that he gave his kingdom to the new couple as a wedding gift.
After the wedding the noble knight and Princess Angel rode off into the sunset and they lived happily ever after.
THE END
