7/10 Feels like it's trying too hard to be philosophical to me. No one can truly take more comfort in the infinite oblivion that is death than they can life, and if they sincerely can, something is wrong. Although the former quote is amusing.

abandon science to preserve your heart, or destroy your heart to pursue science

I didn't say something was wrong with the person, I said something was wrong. As in like, psychologically wrong or tragedy has struck. Humans are not wired to perceive things that way.

10/10! I've always been fascinated with mental illness. And the second quote has a quirky sense of humour which appeals to me. Never seen either of these before, too.
