History: She has no one. She doesn't know who she is or what she can do. She just woke up one day when it was the end of the world

Jesse:

I pulled away a little, one hand lingering on my lips as I watched Myles. So he did like me. Enough to kiss me, that was for sure. I gave him a small smile and looked around, noticing that both Arthur and Meckiah were gone.

"Um, where did they go?" I asked, frowning.

Myles chuckled and looked away. "They'll do whatever they want. Like you said, I'm not allowed to kill him."

I sighed and shook my head, still smiling. The kiss lingered on my lips and from the corner of my eye, I saw him watching me. My smile widened and his turned into a grin.

"Stop watching me," I whispered and moved away. A moment later, I was back in the tent and the pain was back. I winced and sat down slowly, trying to ignore the cramp in my left leg--when had that happened?

-bump- Where did everyone go?? It's dying!

*panicked* I can't do anything at the moment, Arthur's walking away! And I don't like god-modding. *Eeek* We need WhiteTiger's post.

I know! Where is she when you need her??!

Err... I dunno. *shrug* Erm... Should we PM her?

Nah. I was going to finish this soon anyways.

Oh. Okay. Gonna make a sequel? That can usually revive a story.

Yeah. Sequel is a definite.

Sweet.

Narrator:

Arthur found his Geneva, but she was not conscious. He brought her back to the thieves camp and found Myles and Jesse sitting at the camp fire. Jesse was staring at Myles, who refused to meet her gaze. They both looked up when Arthur came back, Geneva in his arms and Meckiah trailing after him.

"What happened?" Jesse asked. Arthur laid his fiance down next to the fire. Meckiah sat beside her, hand on her dagger's hilt.

"I found her," Arthur said quietly. "But I also found something else..."

The trio waited for him to continue but Arthur remained mute. Slowly the rest of the thieves in the camp came to the fire to linger, waiting for the nobleman to speak.

"What did you find?" Myles asked, poking at the fire before him but his gaze was on Arthur.

"I found a serpent," Arthur said. "A great sea serpent...but it's as unconscious as my Genie..."

There was a hush around the fire as everyone stared in awe at the boy leaning over Geneva. He had found the legendary sea serpent? Oh, what wonderful news...but it was also sad. The serpent was asleep, and therefore of no use to them. The thieves began to worry, shifting uneasily as they watched those who they called leaders.

"Where is the serpent?" Myles demanded, standing up.

And so Arthur led them to the serpent, but only after Geneva was healed. The five ventured into the trees and were lost to the forest....until there was rumours of a sighting; the five of them. But this would not be for another year...

((Yes, this is the end of RoC for now... The sequel may appear in a few months. It all depends on whether or not anything comes up. So, yeah... Keep an eye out for the sequel! ))
