“My Uncle Zander told me a story about how he once rescued a bunch or babies from an evil council that wanted to kill them and that’s why he couldn’t stay with me for very long at a time so the council didn’t find him because they’re still mad.” Ky smiled and shook her head. “I’m sure it’s a lie. But I believed it when I was little.”
