The room smelled overwhelmingly of petrichor and wet soil and moss, with a hint of rotting mulch. It was hung wall to ceiling with potted plants from all over the continents, and the air was heavy with moisture. Near one of the large vines, which rose out of its pot and had bonded to the wall, was a pudgy man with wild white hair and a bushy mustache that turned up at the corners in the imitation of a smile. He straightened as he saw her, bumping his head on one of the overhanging pots, and grinned. "Hello hello! What can I do for you?" he asked in Upper Tongue, approaching with a hand outstretched.
