Niki

Rayah looks back at his dad, biting her lip.

Elijah

I look at my Dad as he looks up at Mom, "Please tell me my three week year old son is not having a baby already."

Niki

She pats his cheek, "We're gonna be grandparents. I know. I'm literally only twenty and am a grandma."

Elijah

"Oh sh*t," he whispers, looking up at the sky. "Holy sh*t."

Niki

She nods awkwardly and I keep my face in Elijah's shirt.

Elijah

He closes his eyes again and tries to calm down. I look down at Niki and keep her close.

Niki

I take a deep breath, "C-Can we go inside?"

Elijah

I nod and scoop her up, carrying her inside and upstairs.

I rest my head against his chest as he carries me, running my thumb gently over my stomach.

I lie her down and lie beside her, sighing.

I stay beside Bethany, keeping close, but watch the humans with curiosity. Something about them makes me thirsty and absent-minded.

Bethany

Underneath a tree, I lean against Austin and pluck the petals off a flower, smiling lightly as I glance up at the humans.

Austin

I play with a flower in my hands as well, looking at Bethany and smiling.

Bethany

I glance up at Austin and smile wider, setting the flower aside and playing with the grass as I look back down.

Austin

I match her smile and rest my temple against hers, looking at the flowers in my fingers.

Bethany

I take a deep breath, "Do you ever wonder if something might happen to us...to make us get seperated? I do...and I almost cry whenever I do," I glance back up at him, "Even if we might find each other again."
