I close it and lean against the door, "Let it all out," I tell Jace, "Explain why you think she's so perfect...though I don't understand why you like her because she's very high maintenance."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I study him, looking at the stares as she comes down, hair blow-dryed as she raids the fridge.
I smile and nudge Jace, eyes watching Rayah as she tries to reach the top cabinet for cereal. She pouts when she realizes she can't reach it and sighs, looking around for an apple instead.
"It's dinnertime..." I chuckle, "Not breakfast."
She shrugs, "Do I look like I care, Jackie?"
I smirk and raise an eyebrow.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Jace tries to avoid looking at her, realizing how creepy he just made himself sound, before clearing his throat and walking into the kitchen. He grabs the box of cereal and holds it out for her, staying a lot cooler than I thought he possibly could.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
She nods slowly glancing at me before looking back at him and pouring the cereal, "It's fine. Just...people staring at you...and you don't know why is just a stalker-ish thought. You know?"
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Jace nods and looks at the floor, hands in his pocket, "I didn't mean to stare, either. Apparently, I have less game than I hoped.... so... that happened. Sorry."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
