I smile, "You ready for the hell she'll unleash if she finds out?"

Jackie

I glance back, shrugging, "We'll deal with that when the time comes."

Nic

I nod and look down, "What do you want out of this anyway? How far does it go?"

Jackie

I shrug, walking to sit beside him, "I just need someone," I tell him, "And you stayed by my side when I needed you most."

Nic

I study her before nodding, "I don't attach well. To people, I mean. You should know that right away. You've heard the rumors, and most of them are true."

Jackie

I nod, "I know. I'm not that stupid, Nic."

Nic

I nod, "I know that. I just don't understand why someone would still... I just don't understand your choice right now."

Jackie

I study him, "I have my reasons."

Nic

I study her back before looking at the floor, "You aren't going to share those with me, are you?"

Jackie

"When the time comes," I smile, laying down and setting my head in his lap as I look up at him.

Nic

I smile and look down at her, nodding.

Jackie

I smile, sighing.

Nic

I study her and hesitate before setting a hand on the side of her face.

Jackie

I hesitate, "You know Rayah? Head cheerleader?"

Nic

I nod, studying her, "I've seen her once or twice in the halls, yeah. Why?"
