Jackie

I hesitate before kissing him again, setting a hand on the side of his face.

Nic

I close my eyes and keep my arms around her, knowing Juliet might just kill me if she ever found out.

Jackie

I Wrap my other arm around his neck, leaning down a little so I can reach him, still on his lap.

Nic

I kiss her back and hesitate before moving a hand to the side of her face.

Jackie

I bite his lip midkiss and run a hand through his hair.

Nic

I lean up towards her, tangling my fingers in her hair.

Jackie

I smile, but pull back when I hear the door unlock. I kiss him quickly and desinigrate before Juliet walks in, her studying him.

"What are you doing here?" she asks.

Nic

I open my eyes and drop my arms when she disappears, sitting up when Juliet walks in, "I could ask you the same question..."

Juliet

I close the door behind me, "...There's a project due in Science and Jackie's helping me. Now it's your turn to answer..."

Nic

I think quick and clear my throat, "She's my partner in... whatever first period we have."

Juliet

"But you already got an F, Nic," I sigh, leaning against it, "It was an one-day thing."

Nic

Ah, f*ck. I shrug and stand, looking around for my jacket.

Jackie

I walk back in the front door and pretend like nothing happened, Juliet looking back at me, "Hey."

I smile and glance at Nic, "Hi."

She takes a deep breath, glancing at Nic as well, "Mind explaining that."

"He's here to take care of me," I tell her, pretending like I'm sick, "Friends...you know."

She nods slowly, "We'll work on the project later."

I nod back and watch her walk out.

Nic

I can't believe she bought that. Since when do I take care of anyone? I sit back down and look at Jackie, wondering if I should leave now.

Jackie

I lean against the door, smirking, "Just proved it."
