Alexis

I smile at him. "What was that sigh for?" I ask.

Elijah

I smile wider and shrug, "The kiss ended..."

Alexis

I smile and laugh a little. "That was so the right thing to say." I tell him. I press my lips up against his again and kiss him.

Elijah

I smile back and close my eyes again, kissing her back.

Alexis

As I kiss him my phone rings, but I do not pull away. It keeps ringing and ringing and I finally pull away and get it. I click on the reminder and find that in an hour, my company's show is going to start. My face goes blank and I put the phone away. "Oh I am screwed." I say

"What's wrong?" Elijah asks, rubbing my leg.

"My company's show is tonight and I forgot." I say. "There is a huge chance I am going to get fired if I do not go." I say. I get up off the bed and walk into the closet. I poke my head out. "I do not know if you are interested, but it would be great if you came. Formal event, runway, dinner." I say.

Elijah

I hesitate before agreeing to come, standing, "Yeah, I'll go change."

Alexis

I go out to him before he leaves and wrap my arms around his neck. "You do not have to if you do not want to." I say.

Elijah

I smile and quickly kiss her, "I get to spend time with you. That's all I want."

Alexis

I smile and kiss him back. "Aww that was too sweet." I say. "Oh and when you are done, you can just come back over here, I am sure I am going to be slower that you."

Elijah

I smile and nod, "Okay. See you in a few."

Alexis

As he leaves, I go and plug up my curling iron. While it is heating up, I pull my hair out of my face to do my make-up. I put everything on, then head over to my closet. There are so many formal dresses, I do not know which to pick.

I decide on a royal blue gown that flows and hits the floor. It has diamond detailing and one strap. I slip my silver heels on on go to curl my hair. When I am content with my appearance, I walk down stairs and find Elijah waiting for me.

Elijah

I head home and up to my room. Spending about five minutes staring blankly at my closet, I set on a black suit with a blue tie. Once I'm set, I comb back my hair until it's presentable and walk back to Alexis's house. I'm only waiting a few minutes, for she soon comes down and knocks the breath out of me.

Alexis

He looks at me with a blank face. "What?" I ask going over to him.

Elijah

I shake my head, flashing a smile, "Nothing. You... you just look stunning."

Alexis

I smile and pull him closer. "Thank you." I say. "Ready to go?" I ask.

"Yes, let's go." He says. "Do you mind driving?" I ask.
