How time files! Really sorry I didn't get the results for this event out sooner. I wanted to take the time to read each short story individually without rushing it, especially as we got some great entries.

For this event, I asked people to write a short story prompted by a picture of the Tesla Roadster in space. The short story had to involve the vehicle in some way, but I allowed all other details to be left to the imagination of the author. I was looking for creativity, good writing, and a good read.

So without further ado...

BRONZE

@Carina won Bronze!

SILVER

@TheSilverFox took Silver!

GOLD

And @RaidenCheese took home the Gold!

Congrats to all who participated! I really enjoyed reading all of the entires.

"The trouble with Borrowing another mind was, you always felt out of place when you got back to your own body, and Granny was the first person ever to read the mind of a building. Now she was feeling big and gritty and full of passages. 'Are you all right?' Granny nodded, and opened her windows. She extended her east and west wings and tried to concentrate on the tiny cup held in her pillars."
— Terry Pratchett, Discworld: Equal Rites
