Knight rosette trudges into the Great Hall, wearily. She truly is sick of sounding as if she's complaining, but it seems as if there is always something new she needs!
"A horse, Sir," she tells the Commander, meekly. "I desire a horse to aid in my battles."
Due to some impending danger, this will just be a quick record keeping post. I need to get back to my office before the mountain of paperwork falls on KNIGHT @Lumi and PRINCE/PAUPER @TheSilverFox.
Knight @manilla First off, wonderful selection of a name for your horse. Now, congratulations on your Full Armor, so you and that wonderful steed can charge into battle.
Knight @Lives4Christ24 To you, congratulations on finishing your reviews for Knighthood and I look forward to seeing your activity in the Guilds.
Knight @rosette Now that you've earned that horse, please give it name. Every battle horse needs a name.
Knight @WritingPrincess And to you, I also bestow the honor of Knight. Good luck to you as start on these first quests.
I really do hate to rush but I've been on quests in the dark forests of Res, and need to get back before the pirates destroy my office.
He was dead with the cold, and his limbs could barely move of their own power. He pushed weakly against the driving snow and finally fell to his knees, a warmth just barely beyond his reach. Scrivener had reached the Great Hall of the Knights of the Green Room, alas, it seemed his death was imminent.
His vision faded, and he could barely make out the rush of hot air that blasted from the opening doors before his consciousness fled.
When Scrivener awoke, he was wrapped in thick blankets and pelts. A kindly Knight watched over him, but before Scrivener could open his mouth to speak, a spoonful of stew was pressed to his lips. Soon, warmth filled his stomach as much as it did his limbs, and his exhaustion overcame him once more.
When Scrivener finally came to his senses, in the early morning, he rose from his cot. Donning his dried and cleaned cloak, and raising his mighty pen, he strode forth into the center of the Hall. With a deep breath, he cried out.
"I shall join you brethren knights! I pledge it now on this fateful day!"
And then Scrivener collapsed. He hadn't rested nearly long enough to stand for more than a couple minutes after all.
"If you have a painting in you, paint. Just create it. Banish doubt and fear and step out of your own way. Write if you're a writer. Do what you were born to do. --Toni Sorenson
The Commander marches his way through the Great Hall making check marks on a scroll.
"Huzzah Knights! Apologies for my absence, I've been pleased to hear tell of your accomplishments as I've journeyed across the Green Room. Let's see what ceremonies and congratulations are in order."
Knight Lives4Christ24 (@Lives4Christ24) please be advised that it would greatly increase the commander's ease calculations if you numbered your list on the log, but it appears the totals are still in order for you to receive a mighty sword and shield! May this shield and sword protect you against many a foe in the Green Room. Well done!
It looks like another shield is in order for Knight Arden (@arden). Thank you for your hard work, continue to go forth into the Green Room with bravery!
@Scrivener thank you for your interest in our noble order! Here are your very own set of Training Knives, use them wisely. You are now a Squire. In order to gain Knighthood, please complete a "Log" where you post links to 10 Green Room Reviews, and then bring word of your accomplishments here. I wish you the best of luck on your Knighthood Journey. If you have any questions about the requirements or log, Knight @alliyah or @LadyBird will be able to assist you -simply send them a PM.
And lastly, it is time to roll out the Green Carpet because a new Knight is among us! Squire @soundofmind please come forward! *Squire Sound walks down the green carpet, as other Knights and Squires crowd around with attention.* Please kneel.
You have earned the rank of Knight! Three cheers for Knight Sound! Hip Hip Huzzah! Hip Hip Huzzah! Hip Hip Huzzah!
