Spoiler! :
This is just the first verse and the chorus, I need to write the other verses and add to this.

(Intro made of the sounds of a storm. First there's just soft wind that grows a little stronger, then a few drops of rain. Soft thunder, as if from far away. A chord on the piano, heavier rain. The wind starts to pick up. More thunder, louder and closer. Piano takes over as the storm starts to fade, drums start a beat, and the 1st verse starts.)

Verse 1:
I know that you're waiting for the future to come save you,
soar in on merciful wings and fly you away.
I've been waiting for a long time,
I'm still hoping every day.
I know how hard it is to stand,
feeling like the weight of the world is breaking your bones.
I know how it feels to be standing,
in a crowd, still alone.

(Short space where the piano changes to a different melody, and there's a little more thunder. Vocal start again).

Chorus:
No one's seeing
what you have to believe in,
so no one is going to be forced to be scared.
No one's seeing
the black smoke you're breathing,
so no one is going to be prepared.
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.
Florence and the Machine, Cosmic Love

I don't know much about lyrics, but this really caught my attention. :) Powerful and personal. I'd really be interested in reading more! I especially liked the lines...

No one's seeing

the black smoke you're breathing

But I didn't really get how the line after that fit in with the others:

so no one is going to be prepared.

Prepared for what? Although, there's obviously more to the song, so maybe it explains later.

Anyway, very captivating piece (at least for me). Thansk for sharing!

Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits..
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

It's always a little hard to imagine the right tune with just printed lyrics, but I like the imagery you set up. It really set the mood. One thing I notice about most songs is some kind of rhyming cadence to it, and I didn't quite see that here - but perhaps it works better this way, with the music you've envisioned for it...it's very poetic nonetheless!

I really liked it especially the verse after the key change
