Wrote this earlier tonight, just a really rough version of the lyrics as I messed around on my guitar. I'll hopefully be putting some more work into these to polish them up

But I gave up, I tried to write some rhymes for you

I've got to find a way to get this across
But when it comes to words I'm at a loss all the time
My best friend well she says not to make a fuss

But in the end I wasn't strong enough
I guess that's why I'm writing you this song
But in the end, I'll be fine without you

You never knew how I felt about you
Because you never knew, I'm starting over,
all brand new

I didn't understand for a minute, why you spaced the lines out. And then I thought I got it, but then I was like... well. This is a song, so when you perform it the spaces aren't going to be seen. So I was confused again. Haha. =] Overall I think its really good =]

I really liked all of the lyrics The rhyming seemed to flow well.
My favorite lines are

You never knew how I felt about you

Because you never knew, I'm starting over,

all brand new

It gives a really nice ending to the song
