Forever you said as we looked at the sunset
I shook my head
Knowing how that word produced lies
You smiled at my defiance
Laughing at how I put up a wall
A stereotype
A wall that had graffiti words on it
That read,"The perfect boy can never be forever
Somewhere along the path of life he will get lost"
And you just laughed as you read those words
And you broke down my wall
Melting it into the waters
As the sunset continued sinking
You said
There has to be someone perfect out there for you
And I am him
And I believed you
Will I regret it?

The wind swirled and danced in the sky
My heart pounded and raced
The thunder seemed to consume the world
The sky turned shades of blue that have never been named
And the clouds vanished afraid for the world
Never knowing what would come
I pulled the sheets over my head
Wanting nothing more than to block out the storm
Now I know how it feels
As if God had screamed

I was lost and I couldn't see
My heart was lost deep inside of me
I couldn't find a place to rest
Than you came along
And you found me a place to call my own
A wonderful place
I call you home

seeing this tag and going "oh what's this? :)" then getting slapped in the face with shady's good grammar is the worst thing that's ever happened to me
