I’m going to leave my theme pretty wide open, in hopes that this will make me write more than one poem this NaPo. I want to try lots of different types of poetry, from lyrical to anagrams and everything in between. Making my brain get creative is my main goal
Hey Violet! You're off to a great start! I love that you're trying out lots of different forms. Your first haiku has a really fresh, clean vibe to it if that makes sense - the tone is super uplifting and the images are so pretty and happy. Super nice! And your second poem is totally different, much more cryptic and abstract; I like how the meaning is kind of ambiguous, as every reader can take what they want from it. Good luck with the rest of NaPo!
When you're faced with something you don't understand, I think the most natural thing but also least interesting thing you can be is afraid.
Heya! I really like your haiku ^-^ it's got a nice ~ v i b e ~ to it and I enjoyed reading it! I wish you the best of luck with your creative endeavors, whether you have goals to pump out some more poems before the end of the month or if you're happy with where you're at. You participated in NaPo 2022 which is fantastic either way!
