This is going to fail miserably against whatever Hannah puts up, but here goes nothing...

When the child chooses The tree branches.
Some trees grow crooked With knobs from branches cut Paths started But abandoned before it's too late.
Trees may grow straight and tall, Flexibly swaying in the wind, Birthright of those who know their path.
Some branches are solid, strong, and safe, But others are rotten Sending the child tumbling to the ground. A few are thin, risky, looked down on, But flower the prettiest Bear the sweetest fruit.
Never ever prune your tree Pushing you to a path Because if the tree rots and branches fall, You'll have no retreat.
The branches thin near the top of the trees, The child's options narrow with age, And the tree wilts and shrivels and dies, The child crumples at his fruit's feet.
New branches bud Children cry At the death of their parent But the cycle starts again.
And I am writing a poem on for my opponent but I won't submit it in literary as I fear the deathly wrath of two green room reviews and then again trampled by the crowd(but, YAY, review day is not coming soon).
Here it is... For my OPPONENT, and the title of this poem is Whatever, I mean give it a title, I am not good at titles, provided that the poem is not judged by it's title
Anyway, Here it is, sing this, recite this or whatever... The idea about writing for your opponent is good {#provided that the opponent really likes it and let you win}, but this is one cruel world

For you is this poem or this song, And correct me if I am wrong, As you have did it all along.
I always made myself a fool, I never played by rule, It was you all the way, who who kept cool.
You lit the fire, You took me higher, And my mind, you did aspire.
Whenever, I don't know what to do, The one who helps me is always you, And keep my imagination out of the blue,
Now, you are against me not by choice, And this fact, you don't rejoice, I admit that I don't like this, how will I raise my voice?
But now what's done is done, There's no escape or any run, Just think that this will be fun.
It don't matter who wins or lose, No problems and no excuse, Or if you want, you could always choose,
Remember, when this is gone and done, We will again, unite as one, A new beginning would have then begun,
No more to lose, no more to gain, Play again as we did in the rain, Together, hands in hands again.
