In the story, I would like to edit two letters out of one word. "As I lay awake in bed, recalling that memory I heard my Mom's door slam shut downstairs." I accidentally changed the tense. May I please be allowed to take off the d, in "heard" to make it "hear"? It's just a technical thing. I'm confident in everything else other than this technical error.
And the heart is hard to translate It has a language of its own It talks in tongues and quiet sighs, And prayers and proclamations
You don't have to ask for permission to edit technical/grammatical stuff like that. (See original post.) So that is completely fine. I just need to be aware of major (dialogue, character, story, etc.) revisions.

By the way---I edited one little thing in my story. I changed "Maybe I've found that family after all" to "Maybe I've found that family to spend Christmas with after all." Or something like that (sorry, can't remember lol). I got some feedback and wanted to make the intention of that line a little more clear. That's okay, right?
Christmas is only two days away, and due to the low number of submissions, I am extending the deadline until the end of December. That's the 31st folks, one week away.
If you been thinking about joining but didn't get the chance to write anything, now is your chance! And last chance at that. Let me know if you're interested here. Keep writing!
