Ooh interesting! I saw a dark fox in Washington, though. I think they have different colorations depending on the species?

I support you and your goals. And I will absolutely rank animals lol if my 7.5 years of higher ed has provided me with anything it is this ability.

That´s why I never understand this ranking thing that everybody loves. I mean I like every animal, even spiders (as long as they aren´t near me) because they are all so special and fascinating on their own. Maybe I like swans a bit more than the rest, but birds are cool. They are like pet dinosaurs.
Okay but do you even love bot flies? They’re traumatizing. I give you warning before you look them up if you don’t know what they are.

The pictures of the botflies are not appealing, but I also find insects and parasites fascinating. I used to catch some insects, like grasshoppers and praying mantises, in these insect catchers (I don't know what they're called) that already had a magnifying glass in them. I think it's only to humans that some animals come across as disgusting or strange - like my disgust for spiders. The legs are just too stark in contrast to a human. But they are just doing their job and trying to survive. Everything is put together like a puzzle in nature, if one piece is missing, everything slowly collapses.
