This game is very simple. I start by saying 'When it rains it... [something]' whereupon you continue. For example:
When it rains, people get crazy
when people get crazy, crime is on the rise
when crime is on the rise, the rich builds strongholds
ect.

I'll start.

When it rains, Santa ticks a child's name off his list.

When Santa ticks a Child's name off his (naughty) list, the child receives a present on Christmas.
The fault must partly have been in me.
The bird was not to blame for his key.

And of course there must be something wrong
In wanting to silence any song.

I say Wolf, for all wolves are not of the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous!
