hahaha wait is that how that word is spelled in German??? *skepticism intensifies*
"u and rina are systematically watering down the grammar of yws" - Atticus "From the fish mother to the fish death god." - lehmanf "A fish stole my identity. I blame shady" - Omni [they/he]
Not really. It´s Respektlosigkeit but usually putting a k instead of a c in a word, you get the German word or even some other language like Norsk or Danish.

Haha I straight up don’t know what the difference is.

You just pronounce it a bit stronger in German. It English it sounds like a flow Kin-der-garrrr-den and in German it sounds more like KIN-DER-GARRR---TTTEN xD
I´m actually always amazed to see random german words in English texts, like Wanderlust or Weltschmerz or even Doppelganger.(<- this word is even the same in French)
Ooh interesting! I don’t know Weltschmerz — what does it mean?
"u and rina are systematically watering down the grammar of yws" - Atticus "From the fish mother to the fish death god." - lehmanf "A fish stole my identity. I blame shady" - Omni [they/he]
Weltschmerz (world-weariness) means to have a feeling of melancholy inside (that you can´t explain) or have some emptiness inside. I think that comes from the Romantic Era.
Ooh that’s interesting! Have you ever been around for a Review Day? It used to be a thing to see how many times you could use Schadenfrude across multiple reviews. That and uhhhh can’t remember the other one off hand

Schadenfreude is also that strange word I read in English texts. It´s sometimes so weird. First time reading something in English I thought my book is broken. xD
I don´t think there was a Review Day since I am here. Maybe zeitgeist or leitmotif?
Hmm no it wasn’t those. Watch me look it up now haha I always google what the words mean and it never sticks. For whatever reason my brain has decided “schadenfreude” means happiness about driving a Volkswagen because I remember it was something that didn’t immediately make sense in my brain but I can’t remember what it actually means haha
