And it can't ever hurt to ask her out. If she goes from boyfriend to boyfriend fairly quickly (I don't mean that in a bad way, but I'm not sure how else to say it... LOL...) then she probably is used to getting back into dating quickly after breaking up. I know you'll treat her right.

I disagree--as a guy being on the RECIEVING end of this--(my ex just broke up with me and started going out with this guy soon after) I can tell you, it's no fun at all. I'm crushed--but thats for another day--if you care at all how trhis guy feels, know he'll be mad. If he deserves it, then go ahead and go for her.

*nods* Just be careful that you don't get into a rebound relationship (I know you already addressed that). It hurts like hell to find out that you were just the "replacement" so they could get over their ex. Trust me. *grimaces*
