Killing Yourself to Live: 85% of a True Story
by Chuck Klosterman

It was a really good book about rock stars and their tendancy to die young, an dthis is what I personally got from the book:

Klosterman’s stated purpose is to figure out “why the greatest career move any musician can make is to stop breathing,” and he draws some conclusions about how an early death is good for the rock star’s legacy and his fans. For example, Elvis’s overdose saved him from an undignified old age, while Cobain’s suicide “gave sorority girls depth; nihilistic punk kids, a soul; reformed metalheads, a brain.”

I would give it an 8.5/10

I was wondering if anyone else has read this book or is interested by it

please, do tell!
