YWS Grand Re-opening

Yes, you've got it right! YWS will be re-opening for yet another time to welcome new and farther sights and celebrate the grand redesign of most of the website. Hear it from Nate itself.

With YWS: Apollo now more or less complete, the Young Writers Society will be celebrating its Grand Re-opening on March 23! It'll be a day of celebration for everything that all of us have accomplished over the years. Whether you just joined today, or you're one of the originals, you have contributed something to YWS.

Part of the re-opening is to market our beloved community online and offline. Nate also claimed that:
If you're interesting in helping with the publicity, the following can help a lot:
- Tweeting or mentioning YWS on Facebook (particularly on March 23)
- Blogging about the Grand Re-opening on Tumblr or your own personal blog

Today's literary spotlight is on a very talented and old-faithful member, joshuapaul's short story, Do you remember Johnnie Casey? The style here is fantastic, very different and rich in its simplicity. One of two parts, this is a wonderful read showcasing the life of a small village, and one man within that village as a tragedy emerges and mysteries begin to slowly unravel. The anonymity of the story has a magical quality to it. I for one await the next installment with bated breath.
