Ah, nothing's ever perfect, it all depends on the perspective of a man. And I believe that strongly when it comes to photography. To make an ordinary object appear artistic it needs the artist's perception, and an angle. When does a book on a table looks so artistry? When it has more colour than it normally has or lack thereof. People will go, "oh" whether it's a good "oh" or a bad "oh" comes second. Or when the table has a touch of privacy, like a coffee cup or a family photo, if and if the title of the book is "Who will cry when you die" or "Divorced" or something along that line. What I majorly try to do is capture things that one would normally ignore in his daily life. Eh, it's funny to see someone say, "that's a great picture" of an empty lane or a statue which he passes through daily on their way to work.
Since you have already done a great job by giving an hint of your daily life. I think you should play with colours and angles. Angles that would probably define your picture and your perspective, and create a story. Black and white always does the job.
