I think it's safe to assume that I'm not the only one who occasionally struggles with creating realistic, well-developed characters. Well, I was thinking this morning about how it's easier to develop a character once you know more about them, even (sometimes especially!) little things like what they eat for breakfast or their favourite band.
So, I filled out a bunch of 'profiles' for some of my characters, in hopes of getting to know them better. Something like this ...

QUESTIONS:
1. Do they wear any makeup? If so, describe their usual routine.
2. What would they have in their pocket right now?
3. Any pets?
4. What is their relationship with their parents? (And siblings, if they have any.)
5. How do they see themselves?
6. Favourite foods?
7. What do they like and dislike about themselves?
8. Taste in music?
9. Their idea of a fun friday night?
10. How are they when it comes to relationships?
And so on & so forth. Feel free to add your own questions to the list!
Also, I'm not sure if this belongs in the writing activities forum, since people can reply with a filled-out profile for their character(s)?
