If it's pronounced MEE-nuh...thing I really like it. I see a smart, but not necessarily geeky, girl, maybe 17ish?

I'm torn here, because this reminds me of Jerico, so I think war? But I also have a student named Jerrika and she is really a sweetheart...so I guess I get a sweet little girl caught in war? Lol.

I'm getting an image of a girl (obviously...), somewhere in her teens, I can't tell where. She's small, tan skin, dark hair. Her parents' first language is not English, they gave her an English name but spelled it wrong...
Or, while rebelling against her parents, sweet little Annie pierced her nose and belly button, dyed her hair black, and changed the spelling of her name.

I see a three year old little girl, blonde hair, pigtails, wears pink a lot.

I love unusual, out of the norm names but it's hard to get others to visualize the characters with those names as older people because it's such a new trend that all the children with odd names are still in primary school or below. Hehe.

Victorian, in appearance and story-time, but not quite Victorian in stereotypical attitude?

It's okay. I think of a girl, dark hair-maybe black-curling, teenagerish, maybe a little younger. Sweet.
