You are like a blacksmith's hammer, you always forge people's happiness until the coal heating up the forge turns to ash. Then you just refuel it and start over. -Persistence (2015)
You have so much potential and love bursting in you. -Omnom
There are just four spaces left and I will be sending details out to our lovely judges (@Nikayla @Meshugenah @TheMaieuticMesmerist and @Steggy) in the next few days!
I'm really scared to sign up and go against poetry enchantress and fellow Squills editor, @Aley, but it's all in good fun, right? Sign me up!!!
Also, are there rules for the poems? Do they have to be new or can we submit old ones? Will you be giving us specific topics to write about or prompts or is that just something we come up with on our own?
And the heart is hard to translate It has a language of its own It talks in tongues and quiet sighs, And prayers and proclamations
@Gravity the poems need to be written in April so yes, they need to be new and written in the few days leading up to each round, though if you get to the semi final/ final then you can submit any poem written in April 2017. As far as theme goes/ style goes, anything is allowed!
Anyone signing up after this point will be places on the replacement poets list - you'll submit a poem along with everyone else and then if anybody in the contest fails to submit, you'll take their place.
