Clara was my friends Latin name, so I'm picturing a pretty girl in the Roman Empire. She's really sheltered, the daughter of someone rich, maybe a senator. She's also very kind.

Oy, that makes it even more amusing. I was thinking there would have to be some flippant contrast in it. ^_^

As for Clara, I think of The Nutcracker.

French nobility - a bit of a snob with a better heart than she credits herself with.

(Ha - I love that on Blaise; it's near enough too. ^_^)

EDIT: Oy, we missed poor Meep.

Mariel, Meep, I think of a strong girl, tanned and good on her feet, rather tom-boy and wiry. ^_^

Ophelia Nesa... somehow Greek or perhaps Slavic, with a tragic streak and a tendency to get into hopeless situations. I see her as very wan, but with wide cheekbones and black hair.

Flip impressions again. One side of the coin is a burbling toddler, drooling and charmingly annoying. On the other side, a cocky American teenager with an attitude.

EDIT: Oy, I've missed write me. "Annah Mahson" seems a name for cool-exterior, perhaps historically set - a woman who keeps all things in and angular features expressionless.

Beautiful woman with nothing but her looks. (Oy, I think of Narcissus or of Narcissa Malfoy - neither a happy-ending sort of character. ^_~)

I like it (thomas). I think a relatively young man, late twenties-mid thirties, has many, handsome, sweet as could be.

"The trouble with Borrowing another mind was, you always felt out of place when you got back to your own body, and Granny was the first person ever to read the mind of a building. Now she was feeling big and gritty and full of passages. 'Are you all right?' Granny nodded, and opened her windows. She extended her east and west wings and tried to concentrate on the tiny cup held in her pillars."
— Terry Pratchett, Discworld: Equal Rites
