I see a teenager who is part of a gang. He's gangster, but not really by choice. May live in the projects, may have just fell into the wrong group of friends from school.
[s]A smart girl who plans on going to Harvard/Yale/something, but can't afford it because her mother has a mental disability that prevents her from working and costs a lot in medical bills. Caydence feels guilty about wanting to leave her father and little sister.
Her favorite subject is psycology.[/s]
A young shaman/high preist. He's one of the few who really is chosen by his gods. He's a skilled healer, but he's somewhat withdrawn and often worries that he'll use whatever powers he has to hurt someone, either on purpose or by accident.
If his nickname is athan...I'm all for it. Otherwise, he is a shy kid because he been picked on about his 8245902840938498 syllable long name since he was old enough to socialize. Smart, but doesn't show it at school because he's afraid kids will call him a geek as well.
She's smart and funny, with short brown hair and glasses. Her twin brother is small and slightly effeminate, but nobody dares to make fun of him because they know she'll kick their *ss into next Tuesday. She isn't usually violent, but she's very loyal to and defensive of the people she loves the most.
She once told a teacher where to put it after the teacher yelled at one of her friends for something she hadn't done. She was suspended, and spent the week playing video games.
Well...I'm not sure if you meant for it to me V.I. or Vi....either way, it's cross gender so I am not sure which...but I say smart, probably 20 years old or younger, kind of quiet (not shy, but quiet by choice), spends a lot of time thinking about things. No one really know his/hers life story or really anything about them other than their name and age, they seem to keep everything a secret (but no one knows why) until one day (or accept) they really connect with a teacher and talks to that one teacher (but...no one else, and expects that teacher to keep the conversations to themself).
A pretty, four or five year old girl living in New York City. She's strangely ethereal and out of place in the hectic, dirty city. She's also very ill, but very brave. She has a cat named Mouse and a dog named Bear. Her favorite color is blue, because it's her mother's favorite color.
Her mother died from the same disease that's killing her. (AIDS?)
Elizabeth & Isabelle Stephenson
(they're kind-of a team, so they get listed together.)
They are sisters, Elizabeth is 14 and Isabelle 12. Elizabeth is very protective of Isabelle and they are together everywhere they go. They are currently dealing with a seperation between middle school (Elizabeth) and elementary (Isabelle). Elizabeth kind of leads what goes on in their day, and Isabelle tends to live in Beth's shadow--but it won't be long before Issy finds her own voice.
I'm picturing a sort-of wild child who dresses up in psuedo-Native American outfits and bohemian outfits and 20s flapper dresses and whatever else catches her fancy. She likes to walk on railroad tracks, jump from high places, and dance in the rain, but secretly, deep down, she feels very lost and alone and scared.
She hopes that when she jumps, someone will catch her.
High school boy, 9th grade maybe. A little awkward, skater--so he thinks he doesn't need to talk to anyone who is of a different 'label', sits by himself in class because of this but doesn't seem to enjoy it really.
My drama class friend! lol, creative, loves drawing, has funny spurts... about 15?
Oliver

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you. - Rita Mae Brown
I would like it a lot better if it were Elsie, instead lol. But I say a little older, just broke off an engagement--but none of her friends know it yet. She's feeling vulnerable, she has a job but it's one of those "she speaks of her job but never actually has one in the storyline" kind of things, has her own apartment or small house, lives in a suburb of a large city in a cal-de-sac.
A Russian immigrant who is living in New York City. She falls in love with a Broadway star and admires her from afar until said-star notices her, they fall in love, and run away together.
Glory is from South Africa. She lived there until she was 12 and her parents divorced, at which point her father moved to the states taking Glory and her sister with him while their mother stayed in Africa. Glory loves to sing and new English before coming to the states. Here, she is not part of 'formal' singing group such as chorus class or choir in school, but she sings for her church.
