Tina Valen

I picture a slender young woman, built almost like a toothpick, petite, very few curves. Black hair, pale skin, wears dark clothing, seems unapproachable, perhaps snobby to others, but is really a sweet, romantic girl at heart, waiting for someone to see inside her, the way her friends do. Is theatrical, projects her voice well, beautiful singing voice, though she doesn't show that off as much as her acting. Has a hot temper, but it takes a lot to tick her off. Stands up for her friends, no matter the consequences. Sometimes wears a red flower tucked behind one ear, secretly dreams that one day she won't have to pick her own flower, Prince Charming will bring it to her. Writes songs, keeps them private, except when she sings them. When asked about them, shrugs, say they're okay. nothing special. Plays the violin, or maybe the viola, is privately teaching herself the guitar (acoustic, she doesn't really respect the electric guitar), so she can accompany herself, so she can write her songs easier. Is very smart, a good student, teachers like her though she's no teacher's pet.

Anna seems like a Mexican name to me, though it isn't as far as I know. I see a little girl, tan with dark short hair. Shy.

Pretty close...except for the Mexican part.

Old woman. Carries a Vera Bradley purse. Has powdered hair, carries a checkbook in her purse, gets walked across the street by Boy Scouts, is loved by all her neighbors. Leads a secret life as a detective, is maybe only posing as an old lady.

Joe

A tall, brunette teenage boy, a sophomore in high school. Outgoing, athletic, popular. A bit arrogant, obnoxious at times.


Fionna

I know I'm pulling this from some random movie that I can't possibly think of right now...but I say a girl in her early teens, maybe 13-14ish, brunette, long straight hair, glasses-but doesn't often wear them, curious about anything and everything and consistently gets herself into trouble with this, best friend is a boy, she isn't very preppy-but not a complete tomboy either.

Romen (female)

A tall, strong tomboy with a wide nose and dirty brown hair. She wears jeans and flannel shirts and often beats the boys at their own game. She dreams of going to the city to make her way in the world.

Engel is German, so that gives me an image of a strong, powerfully-built man. Kirchner seems to imply some sort of quirkiness, though, rather than complying with his first name. I envisage some sort of large than life fellow.
