Life by Haiku

Wrote love poetry
to a someone I haven't
quite met and two more.

little princess, he
says and smiles. wings unfurl:
prisms in the sun.

. . .

noon conversation
with no need for vanity--
what else are friends for?

Rain and mellow sounds
mingle with my car's heater.
This is what life is.

It's just too loud here:
the heater humming but no
heat is coming out.

Forty degrees seems
Warm as a bright summer day
After cold weather

It's bright outside, but
I am cold. I fear exams:
an unprepared brain.

The sky begins to
Clear; it is the day after
Storms and shocking pain.

Storm clouds and laptops
intertwine to form stories
out of frosty air.

My birthday today.
Sixteen but still shaking at
heart. I'm missing you.

Wanted to be rich,
Invested in stock market,
Now I live in box.

Confident revenge -
you toyed with my heart, so now
you don't get my hugs.

Healing memories.
For once, it's your body I
wish was next to mine.

Headaches and sneezes,
Shivering, aching, and cold,
I wish he was here.

Happiness and love:
for THEM. I am no sweetheart;
I have no warm heart.

I thought the yellow
hydrant was a child, sitting
there in frozen snow.

I feel infinite
hanging with my three best friends -
life is here and now.
