Life by Haiku

This is something I saw on another writing site once, and it worked out pretty well. Basically, the writing activity is to just describe your day in haiku form. Lets see if it works out here.

Also, a haiku has three lines. The first and third lines have five syllables. The second line has seven syllables.


Today finals start,
Test-taking, essay writing,
Tired I will be.

Here's my try of a boring day:

Silly stinkin poems,
I compose in English Class,
That be all I do.

I woke up today,
Dogs barking, people yelling,
I just want my sleep

I wake up 'round twelve
Then go downstairs and study
Desperately so

Sundays bore me so
everyone has to revise
so that's what i did.

Lame, I know! I'll try harder next time

Homework really sucks
I shouldn't have put it off
Until the last day.

I write a Haiku
I find it quite difficult
I'm not good at them

Went to gym today
Practiced Foundations of Math
Soon I go to bed

No pen or paper
Yet ideas in my head
Taunt me as I walk.

Am I even up?
I wish I were still asleep.
Weight training, cartoons.

It's come! The Doom Day!
I did my Science Fair speech
I kinda blew it.

Got to find a job
Going to a fair will there
Be some funnel cakes?

Went driving today
I sped into all my turns
Which is really bad

Snow, snow, everywhere
Looks like dandruff in my hair
How did it get there?

My stomach hurts lots
I don't want to go to school
But I may have to

Horrible, I know!
