Hero High.

Welcome to Hero High, where kids with powers are schooled. These kids are the offspring of superheroes, some only have one parent with powers, some have two and some have gained their powers through some kind of accident. Not all have control of their powers, and so they come to Hero High to learn the control, as well as many normal (or somewhat normal) talents.

There’s just one problem—some who attend Hero High are actually villains. So, with the bad guys in their midst, school just got a whole lot worse.

Everyone’s power is different, some are amazing....others are not so amazing. Here at Hero High, there are two categories of students—Heroes and Sidekicks. But don’t forget—both have their strengths...and their weaknesses.

You are new to Hero High, either just starting or recently transferred. You may have a fully-fledged power, or your power may have yet to reveal itself. Either way, you have to deal with the usual school problems, (bullies, failing grades, etc.) along with a few new ones, such as Whose Power Is Better. Don’t be fooled, there’s a bigger problem here—the villains in your midst.

So, what are you going to do about that?

Where is Hero High Located? Hero High hovers above the tallest building in Aeronia City. This building is known as “The Tower” and is located a block away from the Mayor’s office.

Okay. My profiles..... Currently Under Construction.

Bad Guy

Name: Christopher Young.

Age: 17.

Gender: Male.

Rank: Hero.

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Mitchell Blake (AKA, the super-villain "Malice") and Amelia Young (AKA, the superhero "Sage").

Appearance: Chris is tall, about 6' with dark brown hair and dark brown, almost black eyes. His skin is pale and he is often seen wearing the grey leather jacket you see below. Prefers to fade into the background but has a reputation for being the 'Bad Boy' at Hero High. He has a natural grace that seems almost inhuman and likes to toy with people by using his Electricity manip and TK.
Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Chris, as he prefers to be known, seems like one of those nice jerks with a nasty side hidden deep within. He likes to pretend to be nice and sweet at first but then turns on you once he has your trust. While on the ground of Hero High, he shows the students and teachers a playful but nice little boy. In truth, he hates Hero High and all the BS about being a hero and saving people. He also hates having to pretend to be even sort of nice. He has a tendency to manipulation people and overuse his powers on occasion. He likes pain and destruction and wants to see Hero High--the school that ruined his dad--gone for good. He likes to toy with both of his twin siblings, yet he knows that Silvia isn't exactly the 'nice' twin, while Casper is the 'good' one. Tends to end up in a lot of trouble at Hero High because of his really short temper--a temper he loses often.

Flaws: Short tempter, hates to pretend to be 'good' or 'nice'. Recently starting getting nastier in everything he does and doesn't think he can hide his evil side much longer.

Power/s: Electricity Manipulation, average Telekinesis and weak Ice Manipulation.

History: Chris grew up with his mother and twin siblings, Casper and Silvia. Their childhood was normal, expect for the odd unexplained electrical surges and freezing temps, until Chris turned ten and realised he was the one causing these little 'glitches', as her called them. Once he realised this, he started to experiment and so, by the time he was 15, had his powers mostly under control.

On his fifteenth birthday, his dad turned up and took him for a drive, explaining a few things. Chris decided to take his father's side and when his dad dropped him off at home, he started pushing his siblings and his mother. Chris had become a soon-to-be villain.

Now, he's been going to Hero High for two years and absolutely loathes it. He can't wait to graduate and start reeking havoc on the world, by his father's side. He's also currently trying to get alone-time with his younger sister so he can teach her how to use her Psionic Blast power. (Or, at least attempt to teach her...)

Up for love: Sure, if you can handle Chris the villain.

Other: Catches a ride to school with his friend, Daniel Stark (Daniel prefers to be known as 'Dante' and also happens to be the son of Iron Man (Tony Stark) & Pepper Pots. He's also a Technopath). The boy owns a motorbike that can fly.

Secret/s: Secretly a villain.

Plant Girl.
Name: Melanie Walker.

Age: 15.

Gender: Female.

Rank: Yet To Be Determined.

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Elizabeth Walker (AKA, "Tundra") & Samuel Walker (Aka, the superhero "RedWolf").

Appearance: Mel is about 5'7 in height with dark, dark brown hair and green eyes so dark they look brown or even black. Her skin is pale, almost barely tanned and she's slim yet athletic. Mel has a natural grace and always seems to be smiling. She likes to wear earthy tones.
Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Mel is carefree and happy--most of the time. She's not under the illusion that life and the world are free of horrors, but she knows when to avoid them. She is loyal to her family and friends, and loves plants and animals. She doesn't fight and highly dislikes violence but will react if pushed. Likes to dance and sing--but only sings to plants and animals. She's often really nice to people--unless she really does not like them--and prefers not to be violent, if she can help it. Has a bit of a temper, but only loses it when her family or friends are threatened, or if someone is destroying nature.

Flaws: Sometimes doesn't know when to stop talking. Gets angry when pushed and loses her temper--which might end up not-so-good.

Power/s: Plant Manipulation & Control (Animal Communication and Ecological empathy being a small, although weaker, part of this).

History: Mel grew up on a farm, far from Aeronia. During her years on the farm, she discovered her powers. her parents realised this and moved to Aeronia. All her life, plants reacted to her--her voice, her singing, even her presence. They thrived. Over the years, the backyard of her house has gone wild, literally. Only Mel knows the way through the maze that's her backyard. Her parents, being rich art dealers when they're not playing superhero, own a mansion. Half of the large backyard in a mass of plant life. Mel loves it in there, and often hides out at the very back of it all when she needs a lone time.

Over the years, Mel has become very good at using her powers, but still lacks strength in getting some plants to do what she wants. Some trees, shrubs, smaller plants and vines listen to her, most others don't. Today, after many hilarious adventures with a friend of hers, Katie, she's moving up in school--to Hero High. As a new student, she has no idea what she's meant to be doing here.

Up for love: Sure.

Other:Her friend, Katie, is a shape-shifter--but only into canines and felines Dogs, wolves, foxes, cats, etc.). Always seen wearing this necklace below.
Spoiler! :
Image

Secret/s: Mel's mother was really a villain, but changed sides when she fell in love with Mel's father.

Name: Silvia (Silvie) Young

Age: 15 (16 in three weeks)

Gender: Female

Rank: Hero

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Mitchell Blake (AKA, the super-villain "Malice") and Amelia Young (AKA, the superhero "Sage")

Appearance: Silvie has short, dark brown hair and bangs that she likes to keep long so that they hide her dark brown eyes. She's a bit on the short side, around 5'3'', and seems to be a petite, harmless-looking person in general. Around others and Casper, she always smiles and does well with keeping up the 'good girl' act. Around Chris, however, the peppy, happy sweet-heart appearance gives way to how she really feels-- extremely irritated with herself and annoyed with life in general. No smiles there.
Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Silvia is an actress in hiding. Everything she does around the school and around pretty much everybody (Save for Chris) is an act. She comes off as a sweet-heart, a bit of a flirt with the guys, and a very happy teenage girl. She claims that she could never hurt anybody, and that she hates one of her powers (Psionic blast) because of this. She forces herself to smile (a smile that looks genuine) and giggle constantly-- but it only irritates her. Truth be told, she's the exact opposite of who she acts. She hates almost every person she's ever come into contact with, and doesn't know how much longer she can keep going with her 'friends' without snapping. She craves being around Chris, or completely alone, because she doesn't have to act like a total sweet-heart. She can get snippy around Casper, though most pin it on the fact that Casper tends to tease her about her grades and lack of power-control. They are not good, and Silvie doubts they ever will be. She lacks power control due to the fact that she's supposed to 'hate' her Psionic power (she loves it, in secret, and wishes she could act like it) and hence doesn't get much practice with it. The second power isn't nearly as powerful as it could be due to the fact that she doesn't find it nearly as interesting, and if she can't use her favorite power as much as she wants, she simply lacks motivation to use it. (She's secretly extremely afraid of her second power, though she won't admit it)

Flaws: Her powers exhaust quickly, and though she has decent control over them while they're used in small dosages, they tire and go out of control a lot quicker than they should. She thinks that if she could practice with it more instead of pretending to hate it, her Psionic Blast would be much, much more effective.
Ironically, she has a fear of water. Hates the stuff, and no matter how hard she tries to get over it. The fact that she can breathe it just makes her mad. Why on earth does she have a power she's too chicken to use?

Power/s: Psionic Blast ( Ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind. )
..............and
Waterbreathing (Ability to respirate through water in lieu of a gaseous medium. Not to be confused with an ability to go without breathing or to be able to breathe an alternate air supply.)
What she finds difficult about this power is that she fears its failure, panics and loses her head. Often times, this leads to the power weakening much, much sooner than it should. Her fear of water doesn't help.

History: Casper and Silvia both grew up with their mom, and lived a fairly average life-- with the exception of powers, and a bit of a bully as an older brother. Casper discovered two of his three at a very young age, though Silvia hadn't found out about hers until she was around thirteen.

Casper was alone in the dark when he was a little boy (around four years old), after the light-bulb in his night-light burnt out. The boy was scared stiff of being alone in the dark-- and so he conjured a very tiny ball of light in his hand, probably from the little bit that shone under the door. It didn't last long, of course, but he knew he had the power. He found out about disintegration a few years later, at around 10 years. He was fooling around with his friends, and one of them made him mad. The cardboard box he was leaning against was partially gone in a few seconds, leaving both him and his friends some-what stunned.

Silvia, on the other hand, didn't find out about her either of her powers until after she turned thirteen-- while helping Chris torment her brother a little bit. (Casper suspected she was just mad because he had been teasing her about her powerless-ness a lot around then) She moved to touch him, and he claims that it felt like his shoulder had just popped. Silvia could hardly hide her joy at this, though she managed. She found out about her second power a few days later, after her "friends" had forced her to the pool, and tried to force her into learning to swim underwater. She still hates water, however.

Somewhere along the lines, between Chris pushing the twins around, Casper decided that he wanted to be the opposite of his brother, whereas Silvie decided she wanted to be just like him. It's been a secret from both Casper and Silvie's parents that Silvie is more into wreaking havoc than painting her toe-nails and giggling with a bunch of high-strung girls.

Up for love: Yes... have fun. ;)

Other: Casper's twin sister, Chris's younger sister. Inherited the Psionic blast from an aunt.

Secret/s: Silvia is a villain who plans on gaining your trust and then turning it against you with a simple snap of her fingers. She plans on figuring out a safe way to get practiced with her Psionic Blasts, she just isn't sure how yet.

********************************************************************************************************************

Name: Casper Young

Age: 15 (16 in three weeks)

Gender: Male

Rank: Sidekick

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Mitchell Blake (AKA, the super-villain "Malice") and Amelia Young (AKA, the superhero "Sage"

Appearance: Casper is around 5'9'', and still growing. He's got short brown hair, dark brown eyes and lips that are almost always smiling. He's got a [not so, but he likes to think]famous lop-sided grin that he tends to use whilst flirting. He's an average body-weight for somebody who runs, though his minor addiction to a certain food might push him into either laziness, or it will stop mattering how much he runs.
Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Casper is typically a nice guy with a good sense of humor-- although he falls majorly under the 'flirt' category. He finds anything that could be considered female very distracting, and if he can't get out to talk to a girl, he'll sit and admire her from afar. Other than his adoration for flirtatious atmosphere, Casper takes things seriously. His work, his training, his running (he runs. A lot.)-- it's all something that is incredibly important to him, and he practices it as much as he can. He does his best to remain on his teachers' and classmates' good-sides, and he does a fairly good job of it. He's smart, and he uses his powers well. And because of this, he is constantly after his sister for not doing better. He bugs her relentlessly, and he's not quite aware that doing so is probably going to end up bad for his health. (No, he does not know she's a villain, though he's completely aware that Chris is.) He avoids Chris all together, and attempts to drag Silvie away from him whenever possible.

Flaws: If there's one thing that can get him distracted, it's a girl or a minor crush on one. He has a horrible fear of turning out like his older brother-- that Chris will be able to turn, or one of his friends will turn out to be a villain and force him to the 'dark side' (he jokes about it to cover up how afraid of it he is) Going bad-guy is that last thing he wants, but the fear that he will is almost ridiculous. The fear of people suspecting villainy from him is almost as bad. If there's one thing that isn't female that can distract him, it's that fear.

Power/s: --Light Manipulation (Ability to control, generate or absorb light particles.) This is, at present, Casper's most powerful power. It seems to him that it's been easy enough to master, and he practices with it constantly. He can use this power to large extends without feeling fatigued, which is a major plus for him.
--Disintegration (Ability to disintegrate matter through touch or through beams.)
This is his second strongest power, though it is much, much more draining than Light Manipulation. He tries to limit his use of this power as much as possible and save it for when he really needs it. Over-exertion causes extreme physical weakness, of for the power to go out-of-control for a few seconds before rendering Casper unconscious.
--Telikinesis *He hasn't discovered he has this ability yet, and will later on in the storybook* (Ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind, often in ways not visible to the naked eye.)
This is Casper's weakest power, and he finds it to be the most draining thing he's ever had to do before.

History: Casper and Silvia both grew up with their mom, and lived a fairly average life-- with the exception of powers and, a bit later on, a bully as an older brother.

The cardboard box he was leaning against was partially gone in a few seconds, leaving both him and his friends some-what stunned.

It's been a secret from both Casper and Silvie's parents that Silvie is more into wreaking havoc than painting her toe-nails and giggling with a bunch of high-strung girls.

Up for love: Most certainly, but be warned. He'll flirt with any girl he comes into contact with-- it doesn't mean a romantic relationship is brewing. To anybody who can snap him out of this-- of course.

Other: He has a bizarre love for slushies (otherwise known as slushes, slush-puppies, slurpies... the icey, flavored mush that consists of sugar, salt, ice and food coloring). He grabs one whenever he has the time to, and tries to make up for the excessive amount he eats with a ton of exercise and a salad or two. (somehow, because of this, he's maintained a healthy body-weight)

Name: Grace Ember

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Rank: Yet to Be Determined

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Dad was Superman, Mom unknown.

Appearance: Short, blond hair. Dark brown eyes. Average height, around 5"8.

Personality: Grace is loud and sweet. She's social and caring, but isn't the smartest kid in class. She makes it by with a B+, but the only thing she's really good at is mapping and planning attacks, but there'as no class for that. She absolutely HATES it when people feel sorry for her or offer to do something for her because she's blind. She's very independent, and even when she does need help, she tries to get by without it, trying to prove that blind people can do things just as well as people who can see. She gets easily distracted, though. Most people don't realize it, because, since she's blind, her eyes shift a lot.

Flaws: Extremely stubborn,sort of a know-it-all.

Power/s: Echolocation, Animal morphing (She can morph into a Hawk, a Deer, and a Mouse. She can see when she's in these forms, but she rarely morphs.)

History: Well, due to an attempted side-kick session fail with her dad, both her eyesight and her memory were taken from her. All she really knows is her name, and who her dad is.

Up for love: Sure!

Other: She's blind. But, much like Iggy in the Max Ride series, she can sense colors and objects based on heat waves and echoes.

Secret/s: Grace doesn't exactly know if she's a villain or not yet. She doesn't really like heroes, because she never sees her dad. She wants to grow up and have a family, but if she's fighting crime all the time and can't be with them, her dreams of being a mom are out the window. However, she doesn't like villains, because, well, they're villains.

Appearance:

Personality: He is shy and tends to avoid people. You won't see him at parties and he usually keeps to himself. When people ask him questions, he tends to give short answers and gets away as fast as possible.

Flaws: Avoids people, never wants help.

Powers: His powers are control of kinetic forces. He can excess potential energy from his movements and release them as a controlled kinetic force any way he needs to. Gravity manipulation: He can increase or decrease gravity on someone, but only to 1/2 Earth's normal gravity to three times earth's normal gravity. Small telepathy: He has a little bit of telepathy, but has to be in close range to use it, almost touching.

History: He doesn't know much about himself except that he woke up on his 17th birthday with no clue who he was. All he had to go on was a birthday card laying near by with the name James in it and a newspaper clipping from the obituary with a picture of two people named Lily and Scott. He thinks they're his parents because they look like him and it said that they left behind their teenage son James. Another important piece was a loaded handgun sitting on the nightstand next to the bed we woke up in.

Up For Love: No

Name: Roxalle (pronounced rocks-ah-lee) Turner

Age: 16.

Gender: female

Rank: Sidekick! Hey, someone's got to take it.

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Rosetta Christiansen (aka the superheroine Lioness) and Marshall Turner (aka the sidekick Boy Bug).

Appearance: Roxalle is on the pale side, and lanky, with lean muscles. With encouragement from her mother, she cut her hair (dark, with a tinge of crimson) boy short, and styles it carefully into a fohawk every day. Her eyes are actually very dark gray-blue, but everyone automatically thinks they're dark brown because of how dark they are. She's often mistaken for a guy, so much that she almost doesn't care. She's tempted to introduce herself as Rocky sometimes, just to mess with people's heads.

Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Roxalle is overall a very indifferent person. She doesn't outwardly get angry often. She's not an easy enemy because of it; she's in extreme control of herself. There's not a whole lot of ways to make her make a mistake. However, she is deeply rooted to 'the good guys'- both her parents used to fight, and sometimes still fight, for justice, and Roxalle's moral code is hardly different. She comes off as fearless, and she's inherited poise and a calm demeanor from her mother. She got her wallcrawling, sense of humor, and pretty much everything else from her dad.

She has an affection (that she won't admit to her classmates) for doing makeup. She's a natural animal lover, but that definitely does not make her vegetarian. She likes rock, punk, and any weird music, and her leather jacket. She's a fast runner, and has good upper body strength. She doesn't often lose her cool, and is fairly easy to get along with. She takes after her parents strongly.

On the other end of the spectrum, she hates, hates, hates being called Roxy. Do it, and you will actually make her mad. She doesn't like high heels or tight dresses (or tight clothing in general). She won't tolerate animal abuse and will dock you points for emo jokes. She snaps easily under pressure, and feels a twinge of pain every time a bug her dad has morphed into at some point is killed within a hundred feet of her. She's not good at sharing her feelings, and gets defensive.

Flaws: Doesn't respect heroes other than her parents and the big guys. Her apathy is often interpreted as rude, and even though she maintains good grades, teachers aren't very fond of her.

Power/s: Very strong Wallcrawling, weaker Animal Morphing, and even weaker Illusion.

History: Rox was born a secret. The identities of her parents had been discovered by a league of baddies, and to hear that one of the most effective superteams had a child would be disastrous. She wasn't even put in the system. Her dad taught her when her mom was at work -actual work- and soon she began climbing anything and everything. Her dad showed this to her mom the second she came home, and they went to even more extreme precautions. Roxalle wasn't even allowed to leave the apartment alone.

She wasn't surprised when her parents revealed themselves as the heroes she saw on TV. She's watched them work, and is prouder than one usually is. But being a hidden child, not allowed to say a word to anyone but her parents, takes something out of a person. She learned to put up with being the invisible child, and with bad puns being shouted in her home. When she was twelve, her mom was seriously hurt in a fight, and lost most of her Illusion skill. It was a heavy blow to her mom's confidence. Since then, she's felt the sun four times. Once a year, she and Dad go out to an animal rescue center while her mom stays home, tracking down the bad guys.

Up for love: Sure, if you can get her to care about you.

Other: Her mom works as a makeup artist. She seriously cannot stand puns anymore. Result of being a superhero's kid. Hates most zoos.

Secret/s: She can't help but notice how much better planned the villains are- she has secret admiration for them.
hey, Jude, don't make it bad
take a sad song and make it better
remember to let it into your heart
then you can start
to make it better.

Name: Jack Summers

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Rank: Hero

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Jean Summers (Phoenix)and Scott Summers (Cyclops)

Appearance:

Description

Jack has a light skintone which go well with his light pink lips. His hair colour is brown with a bit of blonde. His hair style is wispy and layered, his eyebrows are black and are covered with his long fringe which is angled to the left.

He is currently wearing a black t-shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans.

Personality: Jack is in his own world alot of the time, thinking about things and not noticing the outside world. He ponders questions to himself and can sometimes miss vital clues, or not see that people need some comforting. He is a very deep thinker though and if there is such a puzzle that he finds too hard, he will ask others for advice and they will ask him, so he is considered a team-worker. He likes using his psionic powers to try and find himself, because he thinks he has no lifes purpose just yet. Instead of waiting, he wants the future to come faster and is always trying to do things that he is not experienced or strong enough for, pushing himself to go the extra mile. He doesn't doubt himself or other people and thinks that there is something bigger to life than just...living.

Likes: Using his powers, solving puzzles, pushing himself

Dis-likes: Time going slow, people who won't help others, people who think brawn is better than brain

Flaws: Wants future to come quicker, pushes self, doesn't notice things.

Power/s: Strong psychic powers - Psychic abilities

History: When Jean Grey, now Jean Summers had a son, people didn't know what to think. Would he be the new pheonix? of course his mother Jean, wouldn't want to answer that question, being The Pheonix made her crazy and turned her into the imfamous villan Black Pheonix which took her years to get back to normal. Would Jean really want to know if her son has the same fate as her?

Jean tried to give her son a normal childhood, and until he was 10, it was normal, he went to a public school and got a very good education, he was very intelligent for his age. Then his powers manifested itself inside of him and everything changed. He became very depressed and didn't talk to anyone he knew, he was still good in school, he obeyed the rules, he got good results. But with his new found powers he changed, he only concentrated on improving them and using them over and over. He would spend days in meditation and learn about the inner workings of the mind and how to use your full brain capacity.

Then, when he was 12, he was so over-worked he could hardly move and talk. Though his mind was functioning perfectly, he was very ill. The doctor said he needed an extreme amount of rest and he rested without using his powers for a month. After the doctor said he was back to normal, Jack was scared to use his powers again. He was finally aware of how powerful and dangerous he was. So he started practicing again, eventually, but this time, the right way. He doesn't push himself to his limit. But does try to improve on how well he did the last time he used his powers.

At 15 years old, Jacks mother died (his father was already dead.). He was devestated, he couldn't ask them for advice, there history and especially about the power of the pheonix. Now he has no-one to ask about it and is left to just guessing and just living life without guidance from his parents. Luckily he is old enough to attend hero high and has gone into the care of his grandfather and grandmother.

Up for love: Yes.

Other: He's afraid that he could turn evil like his mother once did.

Secret/s: He may have the power of the pheonix.

________________________________________________________________

Will finish.

Name: Kate Dean

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Rank: Yet to be determined.

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Unknown.

Appearance:

Picture

Written

Kate has long brown hair with blode highlights and a hint of ginger in the brown. She has a pinky pale colour tone of skin and light freckles. She has quite a rounded face with a rounded chin. She has thin, black eyebrows and crystal blue eyes, there shape is semi-circled. She wears alot of makeup including: Eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, lip gloss, foundation and blusher.

Personality: Kate is very shy. She has not been noticed all her life and is left to been the quiet girl reading under a tree most of her early-life. When she came to Hero High though, things was still the same. But something changed inside of her. She wanted to be noticed, she tried everything, looking really pretty, doing something intresting or just walking into a group of people. Most of her attempts go wrong, so she guesses she's just a natural loner. She is really loving and caring and wants to help everybody and anybody, she always has a happy head although she can go into moods if she is ignored some times, when she's in a mood she can act almost evil at people.

She likes animals, she owns a black kitten called Mystique and she absolutley adores it. She also appreciates all animals and nature. She feels at home in nature when she has gone on certain school trips and holidays abroad to places like New Zealand. She dis-likes people who use technology too much and is afraid to venture out into the wilderness, she thinks people should stay with natures course and not causing global warming and deforestation and all of the other disasters that has effected our planet in catastrophic ways.

Her strengths is her imagination. When a person has no friends they learn to entertain themselves. She writes all her imaginary adventures down to someday become an author. The perfect job for her, they can use there imagination for a living. Her weakness, as I mentioned is her eagerness to be the center of attention, she will do anything and I mean anything to be center of attention, also her moods, she can be manipulated darkly when she feels like causing trouble.

Flaws: Wants to be center of attention, can be manipulated easily and she goes into moods.

Power/s: She can absorb others energy and powers (but not completely...yet) and make weak manifestations of them for her use, unfortunatley she absorbs some of their emotions aswell. She also can give the manifestation of powers to others. There are some boundaries, she can't have more than 3 powers at a time or she goes into a mental meltdown (for now...) and can't drain a person of their powers completely. (Yet...) She can also release them into the air if she's dosen't need the power

History: Kate doesn't remember her parents, or even knows there identitys. She was found on a doorstep of someones at about 3 months old. She was taken in by the owners of this house and they became her legal step-parents. Although she didn't know she was adopted until she was ten, when she started developing her powers. She discovered her powers when she was on holiday in Scotland, she was walking up a mountain trail when rocks crumbled beneath her and suddenly she was hanging from a ledge. Her step-parents turned around to realize that their daughter was about to fall to her death. Her father ran to her and she grabbed his hand, suddenly she felt a tingling sensation and was suddenly able to lift herself up. After that her father felt exausted, but Kate felt more powerful than ever. After the holiday they revealed to her that they are not her real parents and that you must be a superhero's daughter. She was excited at first, of course, she was ten. She came to her senses at 12 and realized that they really weren't her blood parents and her real parents were out there...somewhere.

She then started using her powers more often. Using energy from plant-life to practice using her powers. She unfortunatley found out that she absorbs a tiny part of a persons emotions so she was cautious to who she practiced on, so she was especially weary of villans who might use her powers for evil if they were able to transmitt their emotions to her for them to manipulate her. She has recently found out about Hero High and has been accepted into the school.

Up for love: Sure.

Other:

Secret/s: It depends which emotions she absorbs if she's evil or good.

Name: Ashley "Ash" Runner

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Rank: Yet To Be Determinded

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Tom and Marina Runner, both normal people and lawyers.

Appearance: She's a tall,at 5'8'', and beautiful. She has a very angled face and natural (or 'supernatural') red hair. She tends to wear a lot of makeup and favors white clothing,

Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Ash is a two sided person.

Ash is a member of Hero High's most elite group. She is very bubbly, and loves to make people laugh. She is a practical joker, and loves to pull pranks. She is very active, and plays many sports, and is a straight A student. She's also a cheerleader. She can apear shallow and silly at times, though, to less elite people. To most, though, she seems to be close to perfect.

She has a darker side too. She's always doubting herself, and she's a perfectionist. She has a terrible self esteem, and is anorexic. she tries to be nioce to everyone because she can't stand the thought of someone hating her. She isn't a really stable person, and more than once has broken down into tears, though she can't really explain why. She finds it hard to open up to anyone.

Ash loves running. A good run outside helps her clear her mind.. She is on the track team for this exact reason. She likes pulling pranks, mostly beacuse her powers give her an easy way to do this. She also loves flowers, pansies expecially.

She hates when people make fun of her. She has a very fragile ego, and even the smallest insult can really hurt her, though she wouldn't let anyone see that. She doesn't like it when people don't like her. She also hates cats.

Flaws: She can't pass through lead or turn invisible near it. She has fainting spells from her anorexia.

Power/s: She can turn herself and anything she touches invisible. This is her strongest power. When she has enough engergy she can walk through solid objects, like walls. She calls her powers 'ghost powers'.

History: She lived a perfectly normal life up until she was ten. Her parents were both lawyers and loved her very much, though they fought sometimes. She went to school and was a junior cheerleader, as well as a high school student council president. She had a long time boyfriend she was very close too and a brother. Ash was a perfectly normal person, though her anorexia was begining to start towards the end of her freshman year in high school.

Then, a huge nuclear plant exploded near where she lived. Everyone but her died. Ash was visited by a ghost while she was dieing from the radon exposer from the plant, and it saved her by putting a piece of itself into her, and that's how she got her powers. Her hair also changed from a blonde to a bright red. After a week she woke up from a coma in a hospital. She cried for weeks over the loss of her family and never got over what happened. after the event, her anorexia worsened. She then went to live with her uncle who was a college professor until she was called on to attend Hero High. She's too scared to take the test and find out if she is a hero or sidekick, because if she's a sidekick she'll be kicked out of the elite group and loose what's left of her stability.

Up for love: Sure

Other: She loves spraypaint for some unexplainable reason.

Secret/s: Her parents aren't superheros and she's anorexic.

Name: Elliot Smithson

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Rank: Hero

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Elliot's parents worked for the AU (African Union), one as an Aeronautic Scientist and the other as a Marine Geologist. It seems his abilities have manifested in the third sphere - earth. His parents being able to control air and water respectively.

Appearance:
Spoiler! :
Image

Elliot is of average build and casually wears tracksuit jumpers because of his proficiency in sport. His parents are of mixed race (white dad, black mom) but as he grew up his skin became darker despite his father's side. He has a habit of looking off to the left when things go bad, the right when things are good, and although his powers would call for it, he barely ever looks down (because his powers link him to the ground anyway, it's more important to look at what he can't sense). Elliot's walking style is not necessarily typical in that its either incredibly fast-paced or slow and steady, with regular pauses.

He has a habit of narrowing his eyes and frowning casually and is unaccustomed to cold. Elliot is most comfortable in the sun and that's where you'll most likely find him. If he fights, his punches are strong and stiff and he's never out of contact with the ground. Elliot has a bad habit of over-elaborating which, I guess, kind of falls under appearance. His favourite colour is dark blue which he wears.

Personality:
Elliot is a boy of conflicting personality because of his dual heritage. As such his perception of normal and 'right' is more accepting because of his bi-racial parents. He has a strong sense of workmanship and duty and, as his father would describe it, a lion's heart to a forges arms - Elliot is a hardworker of mellow mind.

Elliot seems to have a short temper but rarely ever shouts, instead dismissing the object of his aggression with short, to the point and hurtful lectures or attacking them by letting them feel his own anger, share his pain. He is casually open with his emotions, perhaps too much so.

Elliot can't stand anybody criticising his friends and will immediately argue with that person. His fighting style, like his lifestyle, is to stay grouned - unmovable - and let your enemy waste their energy. Because of this he builds up emotions over time as he takes barrage after barrage of, for example, insults without rebuffing. Eventually, this will explode in a show of emotion... meh, wwatcha gonna do. Think of his emotion as a volcano: unmoving, calm, you can talk for ours, but you words our fueling the heat, and eventually it's gonna explode and Hell will break loose (metaphor :P )

His favourite sport is Cricket and his favourite artist are The All-American Rejects while his favourite song of the moment is 'The Only Exception' by Paramore. His favourite food is pasta and prefers savoury over sweet and has a tendancy to eat healthy and keep fit.

He dislikes falling in love but actually has a few times and is up for it in the story. He dislikes releasing his anger and being portrayed as a monster (something villains can use sooner or later). Elliot can't stand incompetence and laziness and corruption on any scale, but loathes himself for being unable to do anything about it. Most of all, he hates seeing people waste money on things like clothing and handbags - he loathes the mall :P

Flaws: See above.

Power/s: Geokinesis: Elliot can control the ground in his immediate surrounding - his most powerful asset
Thermokinesis - A weaker aspect of his geokinesis sees him more resistant to heat and able to generate a firm amount of it under stress - the temperature rises with his stress levels (whether physical or mental)
Bearing - So long as he's connected to the ground, Elliot has a relative understand of where he is.

History:
Elliot is the son of bi-racial parents who work as scientists for the AU. He grew up as a reserved, introverted boy with a queer interest in Cricket (consider the movements of the batsmen in relation to manipulating the earth, the role of staying low and under the ball etc.). When he accidentaly tore up a road in Johannesburg, his parents were instructed to take him to the special training school 'Hero High' where he enrolled. His father got a job in Nasa and his mother works as a nurse all the while pursuing odd-jobs involving marine ecology etc.

Up for love:
Yes.

Other:
Religion: Christianity
Icons: The South African Cricket Team, Martin Luther King, A Fairy-Tale character about the man that stokes the flames at the center of the earth - the gentle giant in a sense.

Secret/s:
Elliot continually hides the fact that when he has to let out anger, he series of small earthquakes and heatwaves that will one day have an impact on someone, somewhere. How else do you let out steam?

Name: Meleah Rae

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Rank: Yet to be determined

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Her father and mother are both superheroes, going simply by the names Red and Blue, respectively. Her father's powers are super strength and speed, while her mother's is the ability to fly. Her mother teaches at Hero High. Her father disappeared several months ago, and one of Meleah's goals is to find out what happened to him.

Appearance: Meleah is about 5'5" and of average build; doesn't look particularly athletic. She is pretty but is often overlooked for the more striking girls.

pinkgirl.JPG
pinkgirl.JPG (5.09 KiB) Viewed 509 times

Personality: Meleah is quiet and sweet by nature; she avoids conflict as much as possible. However, she is idealistic and believes in standing up for what is right; though generally shy, she sometimes shocks herself and everyone else with her courage. She is very intelligent and loves to read, and she posesses a surprisingly sardonic sense of humor. She uses her powers when necessary but has not yet completely come to grips with her identity as a superhero. People often don't notice her much at first, but her friends know that she is loyal and always ready to listen. She is generally selfless and will fight hard for anyone who is mistreated. As a superhero, her greatest concern is protecting people.

Flaws: Meleah is very shy and awkward at times. Also, she can be a little gullible, which makes her easy prey for secret supervillains. . . .

Power/s: Flight (strong), super-speed (weaker), and super-strength (weaker). She can run at speeds of up to 300 miles per hour for short periods of time and can lift up to 500 times her own weight, but once again, only for short periods of time. Her ability to fly is the strongest; she can sustain flight for as long as she wants to.

History: Meleah grew up with superhero parents, but she never fully accepted their life. Until she came to Hero High, she tried to conceal her powers as much as possible. She wants to be normal because, frankly, the idea of being a superhero scares her. She has a good relationship with her parents and younger sister, but her father recently went missing, and she is determined to find him. She has not had good experiences with boys; most of them either ignore her or try to take advantage of her. She wants to find love but is too shy to look for it. She started at Hero High a few moths earlier, and is still struggling to fit in.

Up for love: Definitely.

Other: Her best friend is Lynn, a math geek and sidekick with the ability to sense danger. However, she is willing to be friends with anyone who is friendly.

Secret/s: She has a phobia of water, which she tries to hide. Also, she is a great singer, but at first no one knows this, as the performing arts are not exactly considered important for superheroes.
You must be swift as the coursing river,
With all the force of a great typhoon,
With all the strength of a raging fire,
Mysterious as the dark side of the moon.

Name: Kyle Lawson

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Rank: Sidekick

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Human mother. Hero Father.

Appearance: Floppy brown hair that frames his long face and blue eyes. He’s rather tall and gangly.

Spoiler! :
Image

Personality: Thanks to his father’s upbringing he has a very black and white sense about life. This includes good and evil. If someone does something wrong he will instantly consider them to be a villain. He will not consider the idea that there could be good in a villain. Offspring of such villains are considered by him to be ticking time bombs destined for evil. He also has this same black and white sense about women. He believes that they should not be in the hero business and he thinks it is his duty to protect them. Because of this he can come off as condescending. Also he tends to be very gentlemen like around women. Chivalry is not dead in this young man. He knows how to sort out his priorities. In situations that require his action he is focused and does not deviate from his goal, but in regular situations he’s laid back and friendly.

Flaws: He is condescending and patronizing to women. He is also narrow minded when it comes to what is right and wrong.

Power/s: Force field projection. He has three different types of shields that are color coded.

Blue- His strongest, used for protection. He can extend this protection several feet to protect others. It takes a lot to break through his shield, but it is possible as his father proved. Damage to the shield will casue his nose to bleed.

Yellow- The second is used for healing. It has limited protective quality and he can only heal one person at a time. He cannot heal himself.

Red- The third is his weakest and his only means of offense. If trapped in the shield it acts as a prison which if touched can burn the prisoner. This has no protective qualities and if hit from the outside it will shatter.

History: Kyle’s father was an accomplished Hero known as Human Shield. He had the ability to make himself nearly indestructible. At home he ruled the house with a literal iron fist. Kyle’s mother rarely left the house since she was considered to be weak and always needed protection.

Although Kyle’s sisters, Emma and Rose both developed powers, Kyle’s father refused to let them go Hero High. Kyle’s father believed women were not suited for the hero life and thus his daughters were forced to use their powers domestically.

Being the only son, Kyle was pushed hard to be better. His training was intense. A notable instance of this is when Kyle’s father pounded on his shield until it broke then his father beat him within an inch of his life. This was to show him that without his shield he was nothing and any a villain would kill him with ease if it were ever broken. From that point Kyle was trained to fight in hand to hand combat since his powers were for the most part only useful in support.

Kyle was placed as a Sidekick since on his own it is very unlikely he could take on a villain. His disapointed father constantly reminds him of his failure. Kyle’s father wishes to strengthen Kyle’s red shield and use it to up his ranking.

Up for love: Sure.

Other:

Secret/s: His father beating him. He has a few scars that he hides from such instances.

Name: Jonathan "John" Walker

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Rank: Hero

Superhero/Sidekick Parents: Jonathan Walker (the now-deceased villian, Decimation) and Bella Josiah (the now-deceased hero, Sky Angel).

Appearance:

Image

Despite recently turning fifteen, John's short stature at 5" and his pimple free face lead many to believe he isn't much older than 13. His hair is blonde and in a windswept style, and his eyes are a light grey after his mother's.

Personality: John is a loner; he likes solitude and being on his own. During these times he often listens to purely instrumental music to relax and control his powers (see Flaws). He normally doesn't mind talking to people (though he's awkward at it) unless they interrupt him listening to his music (which can be dangerous for them; see Flaws). He dislikes crowds, because it's difficult for him to concentrate his powers on a single person then. He also dislikes loud noise, because it gives him a headache. One thing he absolutely hates is any mention of his dead parents, especially his dad. He detests the fact that they share a name, and that the man wanted to kill him (see History).

Flaws: His mental powers are slightly unstable, and when he is in a panic or is angered he can temporarily lose control of them with devastating consequences (through his mind control he might put someone in a coma, or cause them to see hallucinations, or even break their mind and render them mad). He listens to music to calm himself, though the instability can sometimes be triggered by interrupting this.

If he is not in a calmed state when he empathizes with another, their emotions might dominate his mind, particularly if they are strong emotions.

Power/s: Mind control (strong, he can control several minds at a time, and induce illusions in them and other such things. It requires much concentration though). Telepathy (weak, he can only sense other minds nearby) and Empathy (weak, he can feel emotions but not influence them).

History: John's parents died soon after his birth in a battle that destroyed an entire city. Bella had only recently discovered that the older Jonathan was a villian, and she swore that she would never let him see their child. He did not know the child was already born (her stomach was still round) and he exploded, attempting to kill mother and child in his anger. Instead he and Bella died.

Baby John was taken in my his father's brother, Jacob Walker, who had no powers at all and detested his brother's evil. He raised his nephew with his wife, Anna (or the retired heroine Matrix), who being a psychic helped John with the control of his powers until recently, when he was old enough to go to Hero High.

Up for love: Sure, if you can break into his shell.

Other: John is an avid player of video games. One of his favourites is the Mass Effect series, which he plays almost everyday. Though he talks little, it's an area of great interest for him.

Secret/s: He tries to hide the fact that his powers are unstable. This is because he feels it means he is like his father, who also had unstable powers (he exploded out of anger, when normally he would have made Bella explode).
