(OOC: I think it's time to revive this little rp. HAND ME THE DEFIBULATOR! CLEAR!)

The Predator lifted off the ground with surprising grace for a ship of its age. Dozens of Sith Fighters closed in on it as it took off, letting lose torrent after torrent of laser fire. Damien wasn't in the least bit surprised when every single on of the powerful shots just glanced off the shields, not even taxing the shield generator. A ship this old doesn't survive this long and not be powerful, Damien thought to himself. He sat alone in one of the cargo holds. Evgrisa had gone off into the cockpit, and Damien was again unsurprised when he tried to open the door conventionally a few minutes ago and failed. He figured it to be a rakatan ship, since it held many similarites to the ships that his former leader, Darth Revan, had taken such an interest in, mainly the fact that it was controlled entirely by using the force. Then, a memory came into focus. Master Starkiller. This confused Damien more than anything else. He had no children, and his only known relative, Bendak, who was killed shortly before the Sith bombed the metropolitan world of Taris, also had no children. The ship around him shook violently, throwing Damien out of his session of deep thought. The proton torpedo that had just collided with their shields was then answered by the rain of light that was the Predator's laser turrets. Another torpedo rocked the ship, then the sounds of battle ceased.
"We've left Korriban's atmosphere. Where too now?" Evgrisa's voice asked over the comm system. Damien shifted his attention to a tall, gaunt figure standing in the doorway to the cargo hold. Zysor was leaning against the door way, staring at Damien. The look on his face to Damien all he needed to know. Damien thumbed his comlink and held it to his mouth.

"We are going to drop Zysor off at his ship. He'll be escorting us to our destination," Damien answered.
"And where would that be?" Evgrisa asked, again on the intercom.
Damien turned a look towards Zysor before answering.

"Ilum".

Evgrisa didn't lose any time piloting the ship to Zysor's own. She didn't question how she knew; rarely was her mind in torment over such matters here. When he was about to step outside, Zysor switched his eyes over to where Damien had gone, a movement barely visible under his cloak.
"I know you well enough to administer advice, so don't let my words flutter by in the wind," he said in a soft voice intended to emphasise the importance (if Damien had cared to listen, he could easily do so no matter how loud the conversation was). "Stay alert. In his hand is a vibroknife, and you are unarmed. It may not be in his intentions to cease your existence, but trod lightly with an eye for danger. If he were a beast, he'd be Deajer. Remember those weeks, and don't lose yourself."
Then, in his usual dramatic fashion, he was gone.

Evgrisa wasn't surprised when Zysor and what remained of his fleet (surprisingly few had been lost) took up defensive positions around Predator. She'd set her course for Ilum, and the controls now only needed monitoring.Usually, she had looked forward to this waiting period. Memories of weeks en route whittled away by mysteries returned to her, and she soon grew impatient to puzzle at them again. She double-checked the ship's status, then decided she could make a quick dash to retreive something from the library.
She hesitated only for a split-second before corssing in front of Damien and opening the door he'd tried before. As it opened, Evgrisa felt a wisp of darkness swirl by her. She remembered the object she had left untouched for so long.
A Sith Holocron.
Rather, there were many pyramidal holocrons on the shelves, but there was one she didn't even look at. Instead, she siezed a packet of several datapads, and returned to her post.

Rygal paced around the inside of the starship as they flew through outerspace. Like always, he was already bored. Jedi Master Ascarr flew the ship.

"Master?" He asked.

"Yes?"

"Are we there yet?"

He sighed. "That's the 46th time you've asked that and the answer is still no."

Rygal paced around a few more steps before asking, "How 'bout now?"

"Quiet!" Ascarr looked at the radar. It showed that a large ship was approaching.

Rygal looked over his master's shoulder. "What is it?"

"A ship is coming into view. I sense the taint of the Dark Side coming from it."

The ship that was on the radar came into veiw through the windsheild. There was a name on the side of the ship. Rygal read it out loud. "Predator?"

Damien cracked a smile as heard the door to the cockpit open. He heard a flurry of footsteps so quiet that even a Bith would be hard pressed to hear, then the hiss of another door opening. From the position of the hissing sounds, as well as the trajectory of the footsteps, Damien was sure that Evgrisa had business behind the door that he had failed to open earlier. Another shuffle of foot steps, a few more hisses, and all was quiet once more as Evgrisa returned to the cockpit with whatever she had come out to retrieve.
Suddenly, a tensing in the force around him prompted him to raise his comm link to his face.

((Sorry about the double-posting. Wasn't intended.))

Evgrisa felt it soon after Damien began speaking. A silence fell while Evgrisa accessed her ship via the Force. A holocron of the nearby ship appeared, then text began to scroll beneath it.

"Jedi; Master Ascarr is registered on the ship's log, but I'll wager my wedding band that he's got his trouble-sniffing apprentice with him. Assuming the apprentice's disposition hasn't changed much..." Evgrisa said on the intercom, thinking that the spyware program Kyul had given her was a wonderful addition to her array of ....objects of questionable legality. Darn it, she couldn't remember the apprentices name, but his natural ability to find trouble had inspired Evgrisa. "Damien, how well can you man the weapons?" Not that she lacked faith in Zysor, or that she intended a battle, but his abilities pertaining to her ship would be useful to know.

"Good day, gentlemen, this is Predator. If you have no business with us, we shalln't keep you here," Evgrisa said to the other ship in her honey-sweet voice that had persuaded multiple ships prior to go elsewhere.

Ascarr responded on the intercom. "This is Jedi Master Ascarr speaking. I've been sent by the Jedi Council to investigate the recent actions of the Sith. A ship named Predator was mentioned in my breifing. With your permission, I'd like to board your ship and continue my investigation."

A voice protested in the background through the intercom. "You're not serious, are you? I don't want to get on that ship!"

"Be quiet, the interecom is still on! I appoligize for my apprentice. Anyways, I'd like to take a look around in your ship. It will not take very long. And might I remind you, if actions are taken agaisnt the Jedi Council they are cinsidered actions taken against the will of the Republic Senate."

"Jedi Master Ascarr, I apoligize for the informality with which I greeted you. I am Eve Karsun, captain of the Predator. You are welcome to complete a search aboard my ship; if you are certain it will aide your investigation. If not, I am willing to answer any questions from our respective positions.
"However, I might add that this ship is filled with mysteries and questions I've been researching on for many, many years. I guarentee that if you ask the correct questions, I will not be able to answer them all.
" Evgrisa ended the transmission and hailed Zysor, "Defensive positions in case anyone's following. I'm letting them aboard, so do not fire. Keep out of sight."
He didn't respond in words, but Evgrisa knew he'd heard. In a matter of seconds, Evgrisa found Damien, "We have some guests on the way. I'd deal with it as usual, but that way won't work well with you here."
She entered the Library, took a holocron off the shelf, and quickly placed it in a safe positioned under the floor. Of all the things in her entire ship, that Sith holocron was the only thing that she'd die to protect. The secrets she sensed within it were too powerful to let just anyone have. Yet she held no fondness for it; a duty, and that was all.

(OCC: C Elocin and Dynamo.....I APPLAUD YOU!!! Good radio banter! Oh, by the way, since these are ships floating in the vacuum of space, I think it would be unlikely they would be communicating with intercomms. Remember the saying "In space, no one can hear you scream"? Well....that goes for soundwaves as well. Commlinks are the usual communication units in the STAR WARS universe. Oh, and as for C Elocin's post, I think you meant to say "holo-display" and not "holocron". Holo-displays would most likely play back information on ships, while holocrons are used to store ancient jedi and sith teachings. Not meant to offend. Just hoping to add some constructive criticism.)

Damien felt the two ships latch together as the Jedi vessel joined with the Predator. Using his considerable abilities with the force, he began to shrink his presence in the force. Smaller and smaller it shrank, untill it was barely percieveable. What little force ability he conserved was to be used in case he needed to do some persuasion. Another thought came to mind, and he quickly stretched out into the force one last time. Using the force as his eyes, he found the holocron underneath the floor panel Evgrisa had placed it under just moments before. His eyes were closed in concentration as he used the force to nudge it inbetween wires and ducts within the ship, finally laying it down a considerable distance from it's original resting place. Damien let out a sly smirk as he retracted his presence once more. She'll have to tear apart the ship to get to it now, he mused to him self. A moment later, once he had retracted his force presense the rest of the way, the symbolic hiss of the pressure lock sounded off, followed by the grinding of the aged Predator's inner lock doors opening....

(OOC: I'm not very skilled with the Star Wars terminology, so if something I say doesn't quite make sense, be sure to tell me what it should be.)

The second Evgrisa heard the two Jedi cross into her ship, the apprentice's name sprung into her name. Rygal. However, they hadn't been introduced, so she made a mental note not to say his name until his master said it...if he would. In her own fashion, Evgrisa merely tipped her head down to show respect to the Jedi. Ever since her master had landed a heel in her back during their first meeting, Evgrisa had been disinclined to bow to anyone.
"Welcome aboard the Predator. If you have priorities, I will be willing to direct you to them first."
Saying this came smoothly, as this was the introduction she'd done many, many times before. Although, her ship was far cleaner this time since she hadn't been living in it long enough to have misplaced more than a few objects. Evgrisa wondered briefly what Damien would do, but decided that she should treat him as a passenger.

"I'd like to begin my investigation in you're ship's library, if it has one." Master Ascarr said.

"Of course." Evgrisa said. "Follow me." They followed her to the library.

When they got to the library, Ascarr turned to face Rygal. "Don't touch anything." He went to look around in the library. Evgrisa followed him to make sure he didn't try anything stupid.

When their backs were turned, Rygal stuck his tongue out at his master.

Rygal decided to do a little investigating of his own. He went over to a part of the library that had books instead of computers. One of the books on the middle shelf caught his eye. He reached to grab it and pull it out. The book only moved an inch out of its spot. It was somehow stuck on the shelf. Rygal frowned and pulled harder. It still wouldn't budge. He grabbed it with both hands and pulled. It still wouldn't budge. He put his foot on one of the lower shelves and pulled as hard as he could.

The book finally came free, causing Rygal to fall down. "HA! I got it out." He looked at the book. "Huh?"

It wasn't a book at all. It was some sort of device that looked like a book but was connected behind the shelf with a bunch of wires. The device sent out small sparks that indicated it was broken.

The book shelf suddenly slid to the left, revealing a dark passage way that led deeper into the ship.

"A secret passage? I wonder if anyone else on this ship knows about it?" He got back to his feet and decided to take a look inside the passage. The bookshelf closed behind him with a slam.

Evgrisa knew that sound, and groaned inwardly. This would create some entertaining explaining to do. If it'd been any other room, she would have just let him get himself in trouble, but this was trouble that could be fatal.
She considered interrrupting Master Ascarr, but he was busy examining the wide variety of Sith and Jedi artifacts that she'd collected over the years (all of them very, very old and most of them dysfunctional or taken apart), so she left him alone for the time being.
Thankfully, the room Rygal had entered was the centermost room on her ship, one which was accessible through several openings. Rygal had botched her secondary door; she'd have to fix it. As Evgrisa used the Force to gently open an alternate (and much more used) door, she felt no anger toward him. It was an excuse to modify the patch job to fit her liking better.
Rygal had figured out how to turn on one of the lights, and was now eyeing the multiple experimental weapons and the workbench Evgrisa had created them on. Most of them were prototypes of the darts she favored in battle, but there were miscallaneous blasters, blades, and explosives as well. Not yet discovered by him were the herbs and plants that held either healing or distructive properties; things she had found extensive use for in the past.
"See anything you like, Rygal?"

"Yes, Rygal. Do tell us," Damien said from the shadows. Rygal's gaze had barely started to turn away from Evgrisa when he found himself pushed against the closest bare wall with surprising force and speed. Damien had Rygal by the throat, his back was pressed against the wall and his feet dangling two feet from the ground.
"DAMIEN!" Evgrisa yelled, more out of shock then dismay. Damien ignored her, focusing all his attention on the apprentice. He extended his presense in the force once more, thoroughly satisfied in knowing this Jedi's master had no idea where they were. Damien's hand gripped Rygal's throat tightly, preventing him from shouting. His hands were gripping Damien's arms tightly, trying to keep himself from dislocating his own neck with his weight, and his legs were tense, trying to find the floor.
Damien used the dark powers he had learned centuries ago to create and dampening field around himself and his victim, preventing any thoughts from escaping the field. The quickness of his attack, as well as the dampening field, caused Damien to revert to the state he had used to first pursue Evgrisa. His face showed no emotion, and the only physical change was in his eyes. Gone were his usual sickly-yellow irises, replaced by two black orbs completely filling his sockets.
"Why are the jedi here?" he asked Rygal, his voice now much deeper and gravely, with a hint of a weeze coming in with each breath.
Rygal answered him only with a stare.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Damien asked again more forcefully.
Rygal took advantage of his exertion and whipped his concealed tail towards Damien's face, but it was intercepted by Damien's free hand. He gripped it so tightly, that Evgrisa cringed, swearing that she heard bones breaking. Rygal cringed, but gave no answer. Damien then invaded his mind.
I sense the fire in you. The hate. The pride. So, so proud. A great Sith you shall become.... Damien sent to him. He then gripped his neck even tighter, cutting off the circulation while simultaneousley assaulting his mind, which finally ended in Rygal's losing of consciousness. Damien released his grip, letting the Jedi Apprentice slump to the floor. Damien then looked towards Evgrisa, his pitless eyes boring into her suspiciously calm expression. Using the force once more, he grabbed a dart gun from the workbench, loaded with one of Evgrisa's custom tranquilizers, and threw it into her hands.
"Go deal with his master. We are taking them with us," He said as his eyes began to revert to their original state.
"Are we to kill them?" Evgrisa asked calmly. This brought a smile to Damien's face.
"What do you think I am? A sith?" Damien answered sarcastically. He looked down at the fallen apprentice. A memory shot through him as he looked into the closed eyes of the mutant human. For a brief moment, color again began to resurface in his skin, but it was soon replaced by its usual pale tone once more.
"No. We won't kill them," He said, more to himself than to Evgrisa. As she walked out of the room to "handle" Master Ascarr, Damien held his gaze on the apprentice.

In barely a whisper, he uttered a sentence he hadn't said in a millenia.
"Jedi don't kill their prisoners".

Stepping silently into a corner for an instant, Evgrisa seized hold of her mind, knowing that in her current state she was vulnerable to any "suggestions" that Ascarr may make. Consciously, she had the fullest intentions of fullfilling her orders, but deeper down she resented taking them from anyone. Firsthand experience had shown her how easily those desires could be brought out; by the Jedi as well as the Sith. She did not desire to keep live captives. Evgrisa knew the effects a person in such a seemingly powerless position could bring about. In her time in that role, she'd inspired two slave revolts, several assassinations, misinformation resulting in war, and general choas and meham. If what goes around comes around, she didn't want to be on the other side of the bars.

Calling on her training Orith had unintentionally given her, she snuffed out her other thoughts and desires, bringing forth the one emotion she had always left at the bottommost layer: Loyalty. She rounded the corner and shot once from the hip.

The dart bit into Ascarr's chest precisely where she intended it to, but he didn't drop immediately like he should have. Two rounds would cease his heartbeat permanently, so she chucked the gun away to avoid temptation. The tranquilizer would work, but it was a matter of how long...he had from one second to three minutes of consciousness. Never had Evgrisa ever encountered this phenomenon, but she'd heard a rare story of it in relation to a main ingredient.

She sealed the doors leading to the other ship, locking them with the Force from where she stood.

"LET ME OUT OF HERE!!" Rygal screamed as he banged his scaly dragon-like arms on the mettal door of the cell he was in. "LET ME OUT!!" He smashed even harder on the door.

After a few moments, Rygal got bored. He looked around the room he woke up in. It looked like some sort of prison cell. It was small, empty, and the walls were made of the same metal as the door.

He leaned against a wall and slid down until he was sitting. "Well, I'm definetly in for it this time. When Ascarr finds out what happened I'll never leave the archives." He sighed. "I hate studying."

He had tried to use the force earlier, but there was some sort of device built into this room that prevented him from using his force powers.

He took another look around the room. It looked old, like this room was used by others for a long time. Rust had already started to form on some parts of the walls.

Rygal looked over at the door and saw that it wasn't shut properly. He could see just a small glimmer of light seeping out of the bottom of the door from the other side.

Rygal grinned. The only thing that set him apart from all the other apprentices in the academy was his near superhuman strength.

He went over to the door and slid his fingers under it. He heaved as hard as he could, exerting almost all the energy he had. The door slowly slid open. He carefully moved to the other side of the dor before letting it slam shut.

When the door closed behind him, Rygal let out a loud yelp. He looked behind him and saw that the door slid shut on his tail. He lifted up the door again and got his tail free.

He rubbed his tail in his hands as he looked down either ends of the hall he was in. It was dark and empty. He was surprised to see that no one was here to guard him.

What he didn't see, though, was the security camera that watched every second of his escape.
