The whole "Telling from the sith side" is kind of redundant, as this is a storybook, not a story. We are all co-writers, writing from our characters POV, so its not like only one side is portrayed. If your character is sith, you portray sith POV. etc.

Now, moving on. I like the other ideas. I like the reemergence, and possible civil war amongst the sith, and throw ontop of that the Jedi trying to come back to pre-war power all the while having huge bounties on their heads.

And it can all start from the assassination of (x official) from (y planet).

Agreed?

Alright well I'm going to post my character info and bio right now to get that out of the way. And this story book, I guess, is going to be about banishing the Sith once and for all (or vice versa with the jedi.)

Name: Marik "Katon" Veek

Age: 17

Height and Weight: 6' 5" and 180 lbs.

Looks: Elfish and fast looking. Dark black hair and crystal blue eyes.

Personality: Firey, brash, unstable. Is dependable and can get any job done. (Sith masters look for that)

Skills: Excellent Force mastery and blade skills. Is also good with computers and basic medical skills.

Weapons: Fights with a silver double blade or with a single hilt when it comes down to it.

Force Skills: Force choke, storm, heal, and crush (Shatters the skeletons of enemies.)

Bio: Having grown up on Manaan, one of the central trading hubs, Marik has learned to have excessive communication skills. He understands multiple alien languages. His family however was unstable and his father came home all to often drunk and fights would break out between Marik and his father always resulting in punches or kicks. To seek peace he met a young Twi'lek girl named Arianna and immediatley became friends with her. One night, when Marik and Arianna were at his house watching a holovid, Marik's father, again came home drunk. But this time it was unusual. He seemed like he was possesed. He pulled a blaster on Arianna and killed her. He then turned it to Mariks mother and killed her too. Finally, it was pointed at Marik. Marik raised his hands to his face and felt a strange force. It immediatley killed his father. Marik was alone. However, the next day a man, dressed in dark clothing approached him and took him to the Sith acadamy on Tatooine. There he remained, plotting revenge on all living beings for the murder of the girl he loved. He remains being one of the most promising pupils in the Acadamy.

Hmm, a bit powerful for a seventeen year old. Force choke, storm and crush only come with a lot of training. And a lot of spread out skills. Can fight, use force, good with computers and heal? Hmm. I know it's easy to power game with Sith/Jedi but still.

And I hope you're not referring to the Sith Academy, it's been destroyed.

It may seem powerful but it isn't. All of the skills are on a very, very small scale. The Storm for example is like a shock and that's it. Force crush only breaks your arms but doesn't kill you. The only time he had ever killed someone was when he defended himself from his father. He targeted the weakest point on the body to crush and that was his heart. He's not very developed with Force usage but his blade skills are very good for his age. I was thinking about and yes I too thought it was powerful. I was going to remake his bio but I thought it would be better to just clear this up. And no I was not talking about THE ACADEMY. It's a small place where 50 to 100 max Sith train. It's very subtle so it could be a potential base for the Sith to reappear from.

50 to 100 Sith? Hmm. That's quite a lot. Revan and then the Jedi Exile mainly destroyed the Sith. I don't think they'd have that many numbers in such a short time.

Revan and Malak never destroyed the Sith. After the war with Malak, Revan went to unite the Sith again as one and tried to establish an empire within the confines of the Outer Rim. The Sith rebelled killing every one on Koribann. Just Koribann Sith were killed. Not any others around the Galaxy. And you're forgetting about the Sith Assassins. They were the non-force sensitive Sith soldiers. Those were the Sith that mainly survived. Also, a couple of Sith Masters survived and went into hiding waiting for the moment to attack and disappear. Tatooine is rich in Dark-side Force energy because of the Star Map placed there by the Rakata (Dark-side civilization that isn't important anymore.) That is why I put a small school on Tatooine. Like I said, it's small, subtle, and flows with Dark Force energy. Besides, Tatooine is so beat up no one would notice a school being set up. They're still rebuilding so all sorts of species comes through to help rebuild and for personal gain (Sith being number one) It's a perfect place.

The Jedi Exile in KOTOR II helps to destroy the Sith in the Old Republic by taking down Trayus Academy.

We're supposed to be doing a storybook where the Sith are hidden, with only a few followers. If you want to start doing a school with 100 Sith, fine by me, but I think I'm going to have to leave this storybook. Everyone has a different agenda and nobody is working together.

Wikipedia:

Five years after Malak's defeat on the Star Forge, a Jedi Exile who had served Revan as a general during the Mandalorian Wars returned from the Outer Rim to find the Jedi Order virtually extinct. Thought to be the last of the Jedi by Nihilus and Sion, the exile was hunted mercilessly by Sith Assassins from planet to planet as the "last of the Jedi" tracked down the surviving members of the Jedi Council. In the end, several of these Jedi were killed, but the exile managed to turn the tide against the shadow Sith, killing Nihilus, Sion, and Traya in battle, thereby ending their Jedi purge and giving the Jedi Order a chance to rebuild.

We were suppposed to be working in a time where the Jedi Order had rebuilt and the Sith had disappeared. An Academy of Sith just doesn't work for me.

The whole point of this storybook is about Sith re-emergence. The remaining Sith are every where, demoralized. Yes the Exile helps to destroy them but he/she doesn't destroy them all. They're floating around, collecting on different planets, organizing into groups. The Trayus Academy was important but not enough to stop the Sith from spreading. What do you think they did over the four millenia to the Empire in the movies? They gathered. Sith "schools" like the one my character is in is just one of many places that acts as a "safe haven" for wandering Sith warriors. Maybe if we could get the story going along, we would work together. But no one was posting anything but ideas or objections. Not one character post was created. This is getting no where with the arguing. That's why I posted my character on here. To GET things going. And for another example, Sith "safe havens" were located on Duros, Dantooine, Tatooine, Manaan, and even Iridonia during this period.
"So, I was thinking, I've always wanted to ride a TaunTaun."
"Ummmm....I asked you answer the math problem on the board."
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did."
"Yeah well, that's your opinion."...............A conversation between my teacher and I.

Hmm. Okay. I'll roll with it for now, if only because I have this desire to make a Jedi profile. It'll be up in a short while =)

Name: Jeron "Stormchild" Cypher
Race: Human
Age: 32
Height: 6'2"
Build: Powerful but not stocky.
Appearance: Dark brown skin, broad-shouldered, hard facial features,
piercing blue eyes. Wears neutral-coloured robes.
Allegiance/Class: Jedi Knight
Personality: Jeron is at all times meditative, calm and determined. He rarely allows emotion to cloud his judgement, and to all onlookers, seems the perfect embodiment on Jedi ideals. However, he does not have much time for negotiations or diplomacy and dislikes discussing things. He
lacks the compassion of some of his fellow Jedi when dealing with
criminals.
Skills: Jeron is a nimble athlete and keen acrobat. He has fast reactions even without the aid of the force. All his Jedi skills have leant towards that of the blade mastery: he is one of the best duellists the Jedi Order currently possesses and a tough adversary in a fight. He also is known for his military knowledge. He has also show an aptitude for investigation and detective skills, a hobby he pursues in his missions.
Notable Force Powers: Apart from the core powers, Jeron specialises
in the following: Burst of Speed (dodge shots, increase speed in combat), Force Resistance (to protect himself in combat), Saber Throw (to surprise opponents), Force Jump (to utilise his acrobatic skills)
Lightsabre Combat Speciality: Form IV Ataru (emphasising acrobatic strength and power in wielding the blade)
Weapons: Purple Lightsabre, Blue Lightsabre (uses both or just one, depending on the situation)
Biography: Jeron Cypher was born on a small, isolated community on the planet of Delaya. The community believed in old Gods that would give a new child a name on their 1st birthday. When Jeron hit 1, he was, left,
as the tradition was, on a tall hill above the villages overnight. It was that night when a terrible thunderstorm hit, ravaging the small villages with flood water. Over thirty people died. However, Jeron survived. The Priest
quickly realised the God's had chosen him as "Stormchild". This became his communal name. Jeron grew up strong, helping his family on the farms and learning to fight to defend the village against the many other tribes
in the region who traded for more advanced weaponry and thus had an advantage. When Jeron was just 12, he was captured in by local raiders and the last he saw of his village was burning wreck. He was sold to become a servant to the house of a wealthy merchant in the city of Matori. For two years he toiled there, remembering to go through the fighting techniques his teacher had shown him, and growing into a tall, strong youngster. His day of destiny came when a Jedi name Man'wak Rasheesh infiltrated the merchant's house and captured Jeron's master for crimes against the Republic. Man'wak recognised instantly something in Jeron, and after taking a blood sample, realised Jeron had a high Midi-chlorian count and took Jeron with him back to newly-formed Jedi Order Council. It was not
traditional of a boy his age to be trained, but the Council was taking constant exceptions because of their shortage of Jedi in the Order. Jeron, for the next eight years, was trained hard and well by his master, becoming an astute warrior and force-wielder. Although some of his Jedi elders expressed concern over his obsession with mastering the lightsabre techniques, it was put down to youthful enthusiasm. However, deep down, Jeron was applying his childhood techniques to blend a new form of fighting. Other Jedi in the Academy had begun a new trend of acrobatic and fast lightsabre combat, naming it Ataru. Jeron blended the power of his childhood technique with this acrobatic style to forge his personal style. Three years later he was a fully certified Jedi Knight. For the last
nine years, Jeron has be a trusted and determined Jedi Knight, believing in the justice and truth of the Republic. Some have accused him of being overzealous when dealing with criminals, but Jeron was a clear sense of right and wrong. This is partly the reason why he has been slightly overlooked for the position of Jedi Master.

----

Oops, sorry for the length.

Don't aim at success--the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one's dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself.
— Viktor E. Frankl
