"Just business, Serkas," The woman replied and ran a dagger through the vampire repeatedly until it fell to the ground to lay in a pool of it's own blood.
"A strange companion," I murmered, still a little unsteady. The woman tilted her head so that she could see me better and I offered her a small smile in return.
"Come ladies, will you accept an invitation to breakfast?" Serkas asked.
"Of course," I rewplied. "I'm Celeste by the way," I addressed the woman.
"Unfortunately, I do not know." he told her. "All I do know is that Baal is trying to mass an attack on Earth using them."
"Any idea how to close them, or even find them?" she asked.
"Look for places of violence and death and you will find them. As for how to close them, you'll have to look somewhere else for your answer, for I do not know myself." Vince turned to the edge of the building. "Do not approach me in public again." He jumped off and disappeared in the darkness of the alleys.
(Just to let you know, Vince is one of those characters who shows up without warning in the story from time-to-time to give advice or to aid someone in battle. You can't find him. The only way to talk to him is if he comes to you, and nobody but I can make him appear!)

Corelle snapped the cover back onto the back of the oven. He walked into his bedroom and saw the smoke from the smoldering pub in the distance. He looked away from the window and stared at his bed. He lay down on it and quickly fell asleep. He woke up a short while later in a cold sweat. He had been dreaming of the time that he had spent in the military's Bio Labs. It was not pleasent.
"So, I was thinking, I've always wanted to ride a TaunTaun." "Ummmm....I asked you answer the math problem on the board." "No you didn't." "Yes I did." "Yeah well, that's your opinion."...............A conversation between my teacher and I.
Genieve looked at the clock and started. "Whoa, um.." she took a bite of her bacon, "I have to run, sorry." She grabbed her bag and ran out the door. She ran down the street, using the corners of buildings to help her turn.
It wasn't too long before she was standing at Corelle's door, twisting the handle to see if he locked up. When the door swung open she walked in and shouted, "Corelle! Where are you! You missed the fire at the pub!"
Serkas and I finished our food and waited for the waiter to bring the bill. When it finally came, I offered to pay half but Serkas insisted on paying for everything.
"Alright," I agreed at last, "But if you ever need the service of a healer, be sure to drop by. If you can't find my house, ask at the army headquarters."
"A generous offer ma'am but if you allow me the pleasure of escorting you home, I shall see where it is for myself," Sekas said gallantly. I hesitated for a moment and then smiled.
"Hey come inside Eve. I have some coffee if you want some!" Coreele shouted from inside the kitchen.
"Sounds great. I'll be right there," she replied. Corelle walked out with two mugs and set them down on the table. Eve picked hers up and took a sip.
"So did it put up a fight?" Corelle asked.
"Nope. It was like it wanted to die," Eve said. Corelle chuckled. He escorted her to the living room and took the trench coat off of the couch. it dripped a little blood onto the floor.
"Looks like you had a little run last night," she said glancing at the coat then at the floor.
"Yeah. Stupid werewolf comes into this bar and tried to kill me. But as you can see I'm still here," he said draping the coat over a chair. Eve sat down on the couch and Corelle in a chair.
(I'm leaving it up to you guys to make a good storyline based on what I've already outlined. Vince will show up from time-to-time to help out so you won't have to worry about your characters hitting the bucket too soon.)

She inhaled the aroma of the coffee, nothing was better than Corelles coffee.
"Meet any interesting characters in the bar?"
"Aside from the werewolf, none. You?"
"Yeah, this hunter Serkas, he kept calling me 'Miss'" she faked a twitch. "But he bought me and this other girl breakfast. She was a healer."
With another glance at her watch she realized why she felt so tired, she had been up for twenty four hours! She took a big drink of her coffee, she had to stay awake at least for a little while longer, one more demon to kill and she could collect her bounty. One thousand dollars, she could pay her rent on time! Plus, major shopping spree!
Corelle noticed Eve's head nodding.
"You look tired. Do you want to take a rest here? You can use my room if you want." Corelle asked her. He stood up and walked to the kitchen.
"I don't know yet. Maybe. I've got one more demon to kill so I can get my bounty," Eve answered.
"What do you need as proof?" Corelle called from the kitchen.
"An ear or something else to verify it," Eve called back sipping the last of her coffee. She heard rumaging and then a clatter from the kitchen. Corelle stepped around the corner and tossed an object at Eve.
"Will that do?" he asked. It was the werewolf ear that he had taken from the wolf last night.
"Yeah. Thanks but no thanks. I can't accept it," Eve said handing both the mug and the ear back. Corelle took the mug.
"Keep it and get a bonus or something," Corelle smiled and pushed Eve's hand back.
