The Moosehead Tavern [2]

"We'll deal." Jace says, smiling at Kalen.

Lol I know This is like really sudden but I was thinking they leave and come back like six years later with the kids lol It'll be really interesting. But lol if you don't want to then it's fine. I was just brainstorming

I look over at Kalen and see that baby-toothed smile. I cover my mouth. "Awwww your so darn cute!"

I took out my phone, "Uh, Jace my school's starting. We gotta go." I said standing up. "Bye Kalen, see you in a couple years?" I smiled and grabbed Jas.

Jace follows Rayah out and Kalen waddles back to his parents, who pick him up and lead him out as well. The tavern goes silent, eerie silent, as the bartender fades behind the counter...

Six years later.....

I walk inside the tavern, With Riley carried in one of my arms. I walk over to the bar and order two apple juice. I sit down at a table and set Riley down on my lap.

Jace walks in, Logan holding his hand, and follows Rayah and Riley to the table. He sets Logan on his lap as Rayah does with Riley.

"Here's Logan's juice." I said smiling passing it to Jace. "Don't let him drop it like the last time." I said chuckling. Riley starts pulling on my hair, I take her hand away, "Drink your juice sweetie." I said picking the glass up.

Jace helps Logan hold the drink and makes sure he doesn't drop it, like Rayah said.

I look at the door as Sai and Joseph walk in with grown Kalen. I smile grab, Riley's hand and walk over to them.

Joseph and Sai smile when they see Rayah with a little girl, Jace with a little boy, but neither smile as bright as silent Kalen, who is more than half as tall as Joseph now.
"Hey, how you doing?" Joseph asks, smiling at Riley. "And who are these two?"
