Brent -

"What's on the menu then?" The one named Tully asks.

"There should be some chicken upstairs." I reply. "My friend went to gather it. I assure you that rat will not be an option for you, unless you want it. Isaac...he eats whatever. I don't agree with that though. We will eat like civilized people with some dignity."

Sory about this, guys. I reallize it's quite late. So, without further ado..

Vixen

Shit. Shit. Shit. Holy fuckin' shit.

That fucking dickhead Valdez. How the fuck do you botch a simple delivery? Man. I hate working with asswipes like him.

Venificia watched the scene below her unfold. She couod tell the mafia woudn't be happy with this job. They would have to do some major cover-ups.
But why, she thought as she ran for her life, and how the fuckin' hell did the doughnut dogs know where the exchange was taking place? And they went and sent the Inter-fucking-pol on my tail!
She ran for her life, racing as fast as she could, knowing they were'nt far behind.

Maybe she thought, it's time to go into hiding. Just for a while. Maybe give the challenges a rest. Yeah, right. I think it's time I checked out Brent and Isaac's haven. Tracer's been going on about how he could take a break there.

And that was how, three hours later, she found herself infront of the warehouse door. It creaked as she pushed it open. Bloody hollywood style typical. Well, might as well enjoy the vacation.
She surveyed them, feeling a slight shock when she saw the kids. Is this a fucking daycare? One of them's even crying for food! she thought, surveying the small girl.
One of the guys who was standing, noticed her. He held out his hand and said "Hey. Welcome to the haven. Name's Brent. And you are?"
"Venificia de Arcaniis. 'Course, the name can be a mouthful, so most people call me Vixen." she replied, flashing him her best smile. "So this is the haven, huh? Seemed like daycare at first sight. No offence meant, though."
"None taken. Care to join us for dinner?" he asked, smiling in turn.
"Sure."
"Married to music - 'nuff said."
"Freedom is everything to me."

I checked my rucksack was still firmly on my back, then observed the building in front of me. Big, derelict, dirty. It looked perfect. The only thing out of place was the glow coming from the windows. That'll get them caught I thought.
I hammered on the door. "Police! Come out quietly with your hands up!"
There was a small amount of shuffling from inside, then silence.
"Alright", I shouted, "We're coming in!"
I kicked the door open with a cry of "SPARTA!", then halted abruptly. A massive knife was being pointed towards my throat. I swivelled my eyes towards the man holding said knife. If I had thought that the knife was big, then this guy was a mountain.
"Just a little joke big man, no need for some stabby-stabby."
He squinted at me. "A joke?"
"Just so. I assumed it was bring your own booze."I tossed the kitbag in my hand on the floor as I looked around everyone else in the building. Lots of women, the big guy, another bloke and...a little girl?
Said girl began raking around in the kitbag, then produced a bottle of lager. I knelt down to her height.
"Those are for grown-ups little girlie."
She swiftly booted me in the balls. "Don't call me girlie. And I've stolen alcohol before!"
I straightened up slowly. "Okay, I won't call you girlie if you don't kick me in the balls. How's that sound?"
She looked confused at my lack of reaction, as did most people who had watched. Thank Valkyre I always wear my cup.
The big man was sharpening his knife/sword thing. I noticed his bag next to him, which seemed to also contain a large collection of knives.
"You'll like knives then, eh?" His eyes met mine.
"Yeah. I like knives. Big, fuck-off knives." I pulled my pair of slim daggers out my boots and presented them to him.
"What do you think of these?"

I nodded, "¡Sí! Aquellos son increíbles. Creo que tengo un par como los ...-Yes! Those are amazing. I think I have a pair like those..." I smiled and took out four big knifes from my bag. "What do you think of these?"

I glare at the brunette who has butted into my conversation with some foreign gibberish.
"I was talking to the big man here, who obviously knows a lot about sharp implements." I gesture to the behemoth in front of me, with a questioning look on my face.
"Tully", he replies to my silent enquiry. "Methinks thinks the pretty one would look better with some nice scars on her cheeks. " He begins rummaging in his bag as the girl turns pale. I gesture for her to leave and she does so - with some haste I might add. Tully pulls out a long, slightly curved blade and, after noticing with dismay that the brunette has scurried away, begins looking it over. I grab a pair of Corona and sit next to him. I hand him a beer and my knives.
"So, to repeat my earlier question, what do you think of these?"
He silently accepts both the drink and the blades and starts examining them. I sip my lager and observe the chaos around me as a third guy appears down some stairs I hadn't noticed.

Alisa Janáček:

I watched them play with their knives silently, extending my hands into what looked like a regular schoolbag. I wanted to take out my old Austrian Steyr GB, fashioned for specialised hollow-points, an optimal double action pistol. Why play with knives when you could shoot through steel? I was seriously packing but I didn't want to reveal myself yet. Anyway, it was better to be underestimated in a situation like this.

I walked over to where the two were comparing knives and hovered over them, trying to get an idea of what the others had brought to play with.

"That's a JDI-LDK, standard Army issue. You were in the Army." I asked without a question.

The man, Tully perhaps, shook his head and smiled.

"What do you know about knives kid?"

"I know you either have very good connections or a lot of money if that's a vintage Becker Combat Bowie." I reached over and picked one up, tracing the blade with the side of my finger.

"Fugging touch any girl in this room and you will die in your sleep." I said, menacingly.
I started to pull a knife out of my bra (4inch blade).

After finishing exploring the warehouse, I came back to the room where everyone was sitting and conversing about knives. Apparently, I had missed something.

As I walked over to where Alisa was holding a dagger, I let a small whistle escape my mouth.

"Damn," I said in admiration, "that's a nice dagger."

I could pull mine out, but decided against it. I didn't know these people, and there was no way I was going to show them what I had for defense. Right as I was about to pick-up another one to look at, the phrase "food's ready" left Brents mouth.

"Food's ready!" called Brent.
Vixen walked over to where the others stood, comparing knives.
"Hey," she said. "How 'bout we introduce ourselves during? And maybe mention our crimes and bounties?" she asked.
"Are you out of your mind?" asked Alisa, snorting. "We're not in highschool here. We're all criminals. Do you think I'd trust you that easily? That any of us would?"
"Sorry chìcã. I'll tell you about me first then, hmm? Besides, aren't you curious to know who you're working with? I am." When she recieved no reply, she continued," Well, anyways. I'm Veneficia de Arcaniis. Also called Vixen. Wanted for assassination and grand theft. Bounty - $40 million. Well, you know me now."
"If you're really the Vixen, why are you here? She's supposed to be one of the best." said Hunter.
"I'm here for the same reason that a seial killer, an amateur arsonist and a serial arsonist, extortionist, arms trafficker, grand thief, Murderer - do you want me to continue? - and the like have gathered here. Even the best need a break."

"Vixen?" I asked and smiled. "I've worked with you before. I believe it was my associates who disarmed the guard towers before your arrival. We needed the firepower, you needed the clearance. Small world, no?"

"I don't recognise you." She looked at me closely. "I would remember you." She indicated to my rather...unique...features.

"That's good, that's how it's supposed to be. Anyway, it's easy to recognise you. We share a spot on Interpols Top 20." I added without looking up. "Shall we grab some food, we have a bit of catching up to do."

I liked this girl, she didn't take crap from anyone and she had brains to pull that off.

We walked towards Brent and others followed us, talking amongst themselves.

"I am Shanaya Dranda. I am the most wanted and youngest theif of my generation. I am wanted for close to $40 - $45 million, and I am only 12 years of age." I said, putting my knife away.
I heard someone gasp. "The Shanaya Dranda! The Shadow!"
I heard people start murmuring. So I am well known even here. I thought.

I chuckled. WOW. She thought she was all that. Sick child. I spoke up.

"Name's Katie Lace. I am known for robbery." I crossed my arms. " I'm 19 years old and are wanted for $47 million bucks. I go undercover in my school and will beat your ass if you get too close." I sighed.

"Estas personas son los tiempos tan antiguos, yo soy el único aquí que en realidad se hace pasar, además de la niña de la escuela .." I murmered under my breath but knowone heard me. Good.

I spoke up again, "People don't suspect it was me because I act like I'm all sweet and innocent. I ususally destract boys and then ditch them with their money." I put my legs up on the table again and crossed them.

It got quiet after Katie told us who she was and what she was known for. Sighing to myself, I thought about what I wanted to say. I didn't want to give away anything that was too invasive.

"Names Hunter," I started dismissively. "I assassinated some people, hacked some things and places I wasn't suppose to and stole, then sold, some information from the government that might have been protected."

"Wait a minute," Vixen started, "Your THAT Hunter."

I didn't trust Isaac with the food, not this time. Heading up the stairs, i find him pretty close to burning everything all over again. I quickly turn the portable stove off, scooping all the chicken strips onto the cleanest platter we had. Isaac steals away something charred, slipping it in his jacket again.

"Please tell me that's not another rat." I say.

He smiles.

Shaking my head, I bring the food down, announcing it's preparal. The group of others stand and begin to crowd around as I set it on the lopsided desk. As they grab their servings, a few begin to talk about themselves.

Good. That's one less thing I have to worry about.

So I stay silent, listening.

I'll have my time to speak when they're finished.

Dallas -

I stood in the corner leaned up against the wall, a cowboy hat obscuring his eyes.He heard some of the other candidates speaking to one another. Foul language all across the room met his ears.

The mouths on some of these people... - He thought to himself. But then thought again.

Some of these criminals? - he chuckled to himself.
