The Moosehead Tavern [1]

I laughed, "She probrably messed up her makeup or something." I said ordering another drink. "Or she broke a nail." I giggled.

Jace smiles and shakes his head at Rayah, glancing at his friend.

"So Mitch, tell me about yourself." I said taking a drink.

"I'm from a place called Crathina." Mitch says. "The sky is purple there. It's cool, but boring. I met him and his brother and then left to come here."

"Wow, Purple skies." I said smiling "That is amazing." I laughed. "I wish there were purple skies where I am from."

Jace smiles at her and Mitch nods.

"We had golden grass too."

"Aww..." I pouted, "Lucky." I laughed and twirled my drink around.

"My skies were always orange." Jace says.

I looked at him, "Are you really trying to make me jealous?" I said shaking my head at him, and I kissed him on the cheek.

Jace smiles. "There's nothing to be jealous about. My world was horrible."

"My world Is horrible..." I said trailing off. "In Olympus you don't get to choose who you want to be with, they pick it for you." I said frowning.

"Well, we didn't even have time to think about stuff like that." Jace says, sipping his soda. Part of him wonders why he's even saying this.

"If your older then 15 your forced to fight in everything, boy or girl. It gets really annoying. If you survive then they make you keep fighting, even if you exausted. They don't care if your hurt or anything," I shrugged, "I have to go back and fight in five days."

"We fought no matter what age." Jace says. "Wait, you have to what?"

"Go back in five days and fight." I said repeating it. I looked down. He looked at me shocked.
