That's fine, Ignorance. Except, Jed didn't team up with Jean, she said she wasn't doing it. He teamed up with Alken. And, for the record, his name is Jed, as in short for Jedidiah ;) haha

Thanks for keeping my characters apart of the SB for me, guys! You've done a good job :D So I'm leaving now, won't be back till late tonight, keep up the good work :)
I'm a JESUS FREAK! (but you can call me a 'Jeek' if you want :D

I waited for the other person to answer. Finally, after more rounds of breathing, a voice said: "Hey, I'm Cailan."
"Timothy," I extended a hand, and Cailan shook it. A soft thumping came from above, and I realized that he had thrown something into the tree that towered above us before he had stopped beside me.
"What'd you do that for?" I asked him. "Throwing rocks ain't nice."
Cailan laughed at me. "Nice Cajun accent, dude, and I throw rocks at chicks because I can."
This sent the anger inside me boiling. I wanted to give this Cailan a piece of my mind-especially just because he had called me a Cajun Kid-but I bit my tongue and instead called up the tree. "Are you alright?" Glad when I recognized the voice that answered as Trini's.

"Timothy," I extended a hand, and Cailan shook it. I could tell from the scent coming off him that he came from the Poseidon cabin. I didn't really care, just like I didn't care about the whole Zeus' and Hades' kids' little rivalry, even though I was a son of Pluto. It's not like I made much interaction with any other campers besides my cabin mates, and only with them whenever they were pulling pranks on me. Still, much to my cabin mates' despise, I was friendly to all campers, especially the Zeus and Poseidon ones just to tick Mason and Nino off.

I'll continue my Cailan character on the basis that Arianna had agreed to partner with Cailan. I'll edit it if Ladyofthedeathroses writes otherwise.

Alex - Uhh... I don't know if you portrayed Cailan correctly. He's not that sort of a guy. He's more of a charming, quiet, wants-to-be-alone, kinda guy.

Ladyofthedeathroses - Um... I sort of used your character and sort of maybe made her my character partner. :?

Cailan - Poseidon

He started walking back to the cabin, feeling a slight smile etching on his face. Arianna, after some hesitation had agreed be his partner for Deathball. It was still pretty early and he did not feel the need to put on his armor yet. So, he sat down again on the porch of his cabin. But his eyes constantly flicked to Arianna, who was again reading her poem book. She caught his eye and giggled. He dropped his gaze, smiling.

He looked over at the dining area again. The people are few now. He could see them talking to each other, probably looking for possible partners. He stared at Kiara, who was looking throughly depressed, although she was surrounded by people. He continued looking as she slowly got up and ran towards her cabin. Although she ran very fast, he could swear that he saw tears in her eyes.

He had half a mind to go after her and comfort her, but he knew that Zeus would probably come down to the camp itself and shoot lightning at him for even putting so much as a foot inside his cabin.

"She's strong, she'll be alright." He thought, and continued surveying the surrounding.

After a moment or so, thunder rumbled over the cloudless sky, drawing his attention, once again, to the cabin of Zeus. He got up and went around to the cabin, and stared in through the window.

Kiara was at her dresser. She had unlocked a false panel of it, revealing a magnificent pure white armor. He was initially awestruck by it's shape and color. Then he figured that he was intruding her privacy and started walking back to his cabin. He went inside, breathing in the familiar smell of the sea that came from it. He reached underneath his bed and pulled out a huge chest, then searched inside his pocket for the key. Inserting it, he opened the chest and looked into his armor.

It was a bronze colored massive armor. He had only put this on a few other times, but it seemed like he would be needing it again. Taking it out piece by piece, he wore it on feeling them weigh him down. Then lastly, he put on the helm and stood in front of the mirror, opening his visor.

"Hmm... Not bad." He mused, smiling at his reflection. He then closed the chest and pushed it back under his bed.

Cailan then walked outside, feeling immensely unbalanced and bulky. Just as he walked, he heard a girl cry out and sound of metal crashing together. He looked around and saw Kiara and another person, who seemed blind on ground. He had taken a few steps towards them when another person entered the fray. He recognized him as Mason Hastings, a son of Hades. He stopped in his tracks and eavesdropped their conversation.

He couldn't hear much, as Kiara's voice was so small, but he did hear the proposal made by Mason. It amazed him to see a son of Hades asking help from a daughter of Zeus, but he was more concerned about what would happen to Kiara if she did agree, which he was sure she wouldn't.

Then, he actually had to rub his eyes again to see if what he was seeing was true, Kiara extended her small, pale hand towards Mason. As his hand enclosed her's, the cloudless sky roared with thunder.

He could not believe it. Here she was, the only girl whom Cailan cared for as a sister, forming an alliance with a son of Hades. He shook his head, as he couldn't even imagine what would happen after Deathball had finished.

Cailan, out of the corner of his eyes, saw the disappearing figure of the person whom Kiara had crashed into earlier. Deciding that he would worry about his sister later, he started jobbing towards the forest, which was harder than it seemed given the fact that he's wearing a bloody armor.

Breathing heavily, he entered the forest and ran in the general direction that he thought he had seen the person go. He saw the sitting on the ground, back against a tree.

Trying to catch his breath he hurried towards him and stopped in front of him.

"Hello?" He said, staring a bit to Cailan's right.

"Hey, I'm Cailan." Cailan replied.

"Timothy."

Cailan sat down infront of him.

"So, why did you come here?" Cailan asked.
Warden: "If you want to lead, all you have to do is ask."
Alistair: "What? Lead? Me? No, no, no. No leading. Bad things happen when I lead. We get lost, people die, and the next thing you know I'm stranded somewhere without any pants."

I was afraid of that. I'll edit it out here in a sec or so. Sorry about that.

Timothy Eight

"Why'd you come here?" Cailan asked. I sighed.
"I'm not really sure if I'm exactly...capable of playing DeathBall." I told him. "I'm not exactly capable to really do anything here at camp." I stared at my feet, then up into the white ball among blackness that I assumed was the sun. True, I wasn't completely blind-I could see bright colors like the sun, but images of people and surroundings were so blurry they fused into static-like grayness that made it nearly impossible to see. Impossible to nearly do anything. I glanced back to where I thought Cailan was sitting, waiting for him to either say something or get up and leave. I was okay with either one, but I had a feeling he would stay. I felt bad for ditching Emi, but I didn't want her to lose the DeathBall match because of a lousy partner, even if it did mean a chance to get to know her better. I wanted to help her, I did, but I knew I would be useless because I was blind. I would be nothing but a burden to her, and besides, I didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of my cabin-mates. I doubted she had even wanted me as a partner, but had just asked me out of pity and as a last resort.

Chirantha - I'm wondering if by kim you ment my character Emi?

Emi

After breakfast Emi parted with Timothy. She left feeling quite happy because Timothy had agreed to be her partner for deathball. Emi headed off to her cabin to find her armor. No one was in the cabin but she was ok with that. She opened the chest at the end of her bed that held her armor and looked inside. The other campers always said she was lucky that she was so small because her armor was small as well which made it eaiser to store. She quickly pulled on her armor and ran out of the cabin to look for Timothy. She looked around for a bit wondering if he was ready yet. After a while of looking around she checked the edge of the forest but didn't hear any noises coming from inside so she left. Then she saw Kiara. "Kiara I think Timothy ditched me." Emi said close to tears. "I don't know what to do." Then Emi noticed Mason standing next to Kiara. "You found a partner, that's great!" Emi said smiling for a split second. "Kiara, have you seen Timothy anywhere though?"

Paulie (Hermes)

It was really sweet seeing Meg meet her brother, even if it was Avalon, who's a bit strange. She seemed so happy to find herself in a place where she fits in. I wish I could say the same. There's so many Apollo kids it's like he's been having sex with every woman he sees for the past twenty years and even kids like Demeter-babies have somebody else. But I'm alone.

Meg's really nice, I could see us being friends. I could go for some paintball, but I don't know who I'd go with and I'm not sure Meg's up to it on her first day. I guess I'll just hang out in the empty cabin. I wish there was someone else like me here.

Mini Mavor

I arched my eyebrow as the boy walked away. Is he not that easily affected?! I mean, it even worked on a store clerk once, and I've gotten away with some lipgloss, but how is a Zeus camper any different? Breathe Mini, breathe. Try to make some friends. You'll be better, you promised Dad. I huffed with annoyance and made my way to the pavilion. I took a seat at the Aphrodite table.

I could tell that Mia was glaring at me. It was just a slight feeling. I didn't feel like eating, so I took my plate of eggs and dumped it in the fire.

"Aphrodite," I said quietly. I've only met my mother once, and that was on my 12th birthday. She came and talked Dad into bringing me here- props to Mom on that. That was the only time I knew that we were alike: seductive, appealing, and flirtatious. I turned around and scanned the pavilion. People were already teaming up for the big Deathball thing. I huffed, wishing I couldn't play. Ah well, might as well find a partner. I searched for a partner, to find that most people were already taken. My eyes landed on the boy I winked at.

Maybe.

I dusted off my dress and walked up to him. I tapped his shoulder, making sure not to scare him. He turned around slowly, and widened his eyes.

"Wink girl?" he exclaimed. I arched an eyebrow.

"It's Mini," I confirmed. "Not like the mouse."

He chuckled. "Sorry about that, and I'm Jaiden". I nodded.

"Uh-huh. Got a Deathball partner?" I asked.

"Um, no?" he replied. I crossed my arms and nodded.

"Good. Be my Deathball partner? Say no, you'll always be a wanker, just saying," I said. He looked shocked, but chuckled afterwards.

(Sorry about that, I know it's such a horrid post. :) But with limited time, I must work with it. Take it away Sunshine!)

Name: Madeline "Jinx" Hale
Age (10-18): 15
Parents (Mortal and Godly): Apollo and Lilian Hale
Appearance: Carmel-brown hair, green eyes. Jinx's hair reaches down just four inches past her shoulders. It's straight, but far from flat. It's relatively thick. Her layered hair is parted far to the right. Her green eyes seem to smile when she's happy, and her smile takes up her whole face. The small golden flecks in her eyes make them seem warm and welcoming. Jinx's wide smile is contagious and lights up a room. She's relatively short and skinny and can run fast.
Personality: Warm and welcoming. Jinx is outgoing and cheerful. She normally has a good attitude, despite her bad luck (hence the nickname Jinx). People hear her contagious, musical laugh a lot, and it makes them smile/laugh with her. Jinx is also very animated and talks loudly, and with her hands.
Other Personalities (Likes, Dislikes, Strengths, Weaknesses): Likes playing her flute, writing/reading, and helping others. Dislikes when her friends are hurt, a extended quietness, and when people fuss over her. Strengths: Hopeful, willing to find the bright side, willing to forgive (mostly). Weaknesses: Had rough past- can't forgive herself for it, lies about past, won't accept help
Brief History (Remember to include how they got to camp!): When Jinx was little, her mother would neglect her. Jinx blamed herself for this. She thought she wasn't good enough for her mother's attention. So she ran away at age 1, which is when she met Sam and Eve. Eve was 17 at the time, and Sam was her age. Eve and Sam took Jinx in, let her join their group. She soon found they were demigods on the run. Things got rough for a while- it was hard to find food, and with the monsters attacking them, they thought they were going to die. Jinx held on to hope, allowed Sam to convince her that's how to survive. Sam helped her (Eve helped Sam help Jinx anonymously.) and after a year on the run, Jinx, Sam, and Eve were really close with each other. When they were found by Camp Demi-God, they were utterly relieved. Jinx wound up being a daughter of Apollo, Sam a son of Zeus, and Eve a daughter of Venus.
Up for love?: She's with Sam. After a few months at Camp Demi-God, they fell in love and are now dating!
Other: Sam and Eve are two of the people Jinx is honest with no matter what. She can't lie to them now, can't put on the usual facade that she's always happy.

(PS: Do you want me to create a profile for Sam? Because I can c:)

Guys. If you over post on accident, please delete the words. Thank you! :D

All deathball pairings to the DT please!

Hollow- Can you switch your girl to Roman? Thank you. Also, it's okay to have a detailed past with other characters, just remember to involve your character with the others. That's part of the point of SB's!

Lynette Milliron-Armory

"Do you have a partner?" Xander asked. "If you don't, I would be happy if you teamed up with me. I wouldn't mind having the demi-god of war on my side." I started to laugh, but Xander hastily added; "By the way, would you mind if I called you Lyn?"

I studied Xander with a half-smile dancing across my face. Of course, being deathball partners wasn't a huge deal for most people. For me, however, well...

"Of course!" I stopped, flustered a bit. Lyn...calm down... I put on a calm smile. "To both questions."

Xander nodded, satisfied and went back to picking at his food. I shoved another piece of pancake in my mouth as ladylike as I could. "Alright then, Lyn. Partners for deathball it is."

I nod with a smile before checking the giant projectile clock in the middle of the Diner Hall. Crap!

"We should probably hurry up and get our armor on. Getting fried to death by deathball isn't on my top list of things to do this Summer."

Xander chuckled to himself. "Yeah, I wasn't all that hungry anyways."

"Well I didn't mean-"

Xander had already gotten up, tossing his breakfast in the trash. With one last gulp of my breakfast, I follow, not minding all that much about being cut off. We began to walk over towards the armory. A few people were already there, but we seem to have beat the majority of the crowd. I walked over to the Ares/Mars section of the armory and begin shrugging into mine. I look over, laughing as I watch Xander have trouble with his armor.

"Need a little help there?" I giggle- me giggling- and walk over to help him.

gleek- Love you for the Wink girl thing!
Jaiden Vanderbilt

"Good. Be my Deathball partner? Say no, you'll always be a wanker, just saying." Wink girl- excuse me, Mini and not as in the mouse- was saying. I let out an involuntary chuckle.

Wasn't it funny how life randomly presented you with the golden oppurtunity? I wanted a partner, and here one presents herself to me. A pretty one, at that. I study the girl, her hand on her jetted out hip.

"Can't have that." I smile. "Sure, I'll be your partner."

"Good." She smiled. "You do know how to play, right?" Was that a hint of a British accent I was picking up on? Cute.

"Of course," I say, slightly confused.

"Good, 'cause I sure as hell don't!"

I looked at her, and my mouth probably dropped half open. I guess I got myself into more of a condundrum then I'd originally thought. A partner who didn't know what she was doing on the battlefield. Well, at least I knew she was probably an Aphrodite or a Venus. If anything, it would provide me with the most interesting experience of deathball I'd ever played.

"That's...great, actually."

Mini giggled. "You'll show me around, won't you?" She blinked her long lashes flirtasiously.

"That's what partners do, right? Or, something of that nature."

Mini's honeyed eyes stared at me gratefully and I, in part, wish I could say I wasn't going to let her charm get to me. It's only to bad I'm not a liar.

Hope this is okay, gleek!
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Xander | Armory

After dumping our food out, we walked to the armory together. Let's see... if I spend a whole day with Lyn, and then work on other campers throughout the summer... how quickly would I beat Mason? I knew some kids here thought I was just a fake. I mean, they'd be right, but I didn't want them to know that!

When we got to the armory, Lyn headed off into the direction of the Ares/Mars section and I the Zeus/Jupiter section. I picked up my armor and tried putting it on. It was heavy and bronze, a silver engraving of a lightning bolt carved into the front. I hadn't actually put it on myself before, though, so I wasn't quite sure how it worked. I cursed myself for being so lame in front of Lyn. I was already breaking rule number one and I'd only been with her for a few hours.

I heard her giggle behind me. Oh great, now she's laughing at me?! She came towards me and looked me in the eye, I looked away, genuinely embarrassed to be seen doing something so dorky and lame. A child of Zeus should at least be able to put on his own armor! What's wrong with me?!

"Need a little help there?"

I covered my face with my hands and nodded silently. I didn't want to show her my face. On the inside I was burning with anger and frustration, that I couldn't keep up my "cool" act, yet on the outside my face probably looked like it was red from embarrassment only.

She giggled again and told me to turn around. After she fixed my armor to perfection, she looked at me. I still couldn't look her in the eye and my arm was still covering my face partially.

"Look at me," she said. Slowly, I looked down at her and she smiled. "It's okay, not many of the demi-gods can walk in armor, let alone put it on."

I laughed and uncovered my mouth. I rubbed at my temples and tried to laugh off my overflowing frustration. "But I'm the son of the God of Gods. Shouldn't I at least be able to do this much?"

"You'd be surprised."

I actually was surprised, but not for what we were talking about. I was surprised because I felt better after talking to Lyn. I felt more relaxed after laughing it off and I was back to how I was before I showed her one of my weaknesses. "Thank you, Lyn."

I gave her a friendly smile, and this time it was actually sincere. Not acted out, not pretend, it was really, truly, a genuine smile.

I found a perfect picture for Meg (: just click the following link.

MEG WOODSON / Daughter of Demeter

Paulie and I parted ways as I finished settling in, putting stuff in drawers, and giving my little half of the cabin some semblance of home. I was glad I seemed to find a potential friend in Paulie, because I was sure the rest of the people here wouldn't be so welcoming.

"There," I said as I smoothed my night-sky themed comforter on my bed. I checked my schedule and the time on my phone. Breakfast was pretty much over by now, not that I cared. My stomach was too knotted with dread to even consider throwing food in there too. My eyes scanned the page for the next activity. Deathball.

Believe me, I'm game for any kind of athletic competition, team-based or otherwise, but at this early hour, at a new camp with total strangers who might have seriously badass powers, any game with the name "deathball" was definitely not in my survival plan. I sighed, weighing my options, and finally decided to ditch the organized sports and explore the camp grounds on a solo run.

I pulled off my cowboy boots and short jean shorts, opting instead for some white and red dolphin shorts from my prep school track team and a pair of old black Keds. I figured, at least for the first couple of days, it would be better for me to fit in. I tied my hair into a long fishtail braid, grabbed my iPod, and left.

Zoning out during runs is one of my favorite sensations in the world. Just the pounding of my feet in rhythm with the music--this time it was Maroon 5--grounds me and makes me feel like part of nature. Granted, it's cheesy and cliché but it's true. Maybe it's part of the whole daughter-of-the-nature-goddess deal. Regardless, when I'm out in my element, I'm completely purely nature. It's like the movement of my body is what makes the Earth rotate.

So it really pissed me off when my cheesy, cliché run was interrupted by a figure ramming into me from the left side and running wordlessly into the woods without a backward glance. He'd barreled me to the ground, and despite my confusion, dizzyness, and the scrapes on my arms and legs, I pulled myself together and up off the ground.

"What the hell? Wait!" I yelled after him, breath knocked out of me. "Come back here, you idiot!"

I ran after him into the trees, following the sound of feet crunching the leaves on the forest floor. After a couple minutes, the rustling feet sound stopped entirely. Great, now they're hiding from me, I thought.

"Wait," I said reluctantly. "Come out. I'm not, like, going to hurt you or anything. I just wanted to go on a peaceful run. Alone."

I heard rustling, but still the stranger didn't show his or her face.

"This is bullshit," I said, concentrating, making the vines and ferns obstructing my view shrink back into the ground, so the hider had nowhere to hide.

***If someone could please pick up here, that would be great(:***

*I'll write Kiara after "Ignorance" replies as Mason. ;)

Another thing. I might have spelling mistakes in this post as I tend to mix up the letters unintentionally and my spell-checker isn't working.

Tiger & Alex - Is it alright If I team up Trini and Timothy togethor. I believe Sunshine said the team could be in two's or three's, and also Tiger said that Trini had a thing for sons of Hades/Pluto. So, let me know if you don't want to, and I'll edit my post.

Cailan - Poseidon

He fell silent after he heard Timothy. He thought about what he said.

"How long have you been blind?" He asked quietly.

"Practically my whole life." He answered bitterly. "And all I ever wanted to become was a warrior, a kind of person that everybody looked up to. But, as you can see, I'll never become one."

Cailan got up and took Timothy's hand, pulling him to his feet.

"Maybe you'll never become a warrior, but you can always try. Sitting here isn't going to help you in anyway possible. Come on, you have a Deathball match to attend to" Cailan assured.

"But, if I do go to that match and be Emi's partner, I'll surely loose and that'll make her loose as well. I don't want to drag her down with me. Plus, I'll become the laughing stock of the others." He answered.

"But if you don't, Emi would have to do the match alone and then she'll be in even more danger of loosing that with you at her side. Look, it's not about winning or loosing. It's about facing the challenge, and I know Deathball isn't much of a challenge, but it's a step." Cailan replied.

Timothy fell quiet, ask if he was thinking about what he had said. Cailan watched him patiently.

"Alright, I'll go to the Deathball, but... only if Emi truly says that she wants me as her partner." Timothy finally said.

"Okay then, let's go before the other finish Deathball without us." Cailan said and started walking the way he came.

He had only taken two or more steps when something creaked on top of the tree. He stopped in his tracks, his hands immediately moving towards the two sheaths on the back of his armor, which were... empty.

"Who's there?" He called up to the tree, pushing Timothy behind him and drawing his knife from the armor. He was not skilled with the it, but it felt good to have a weapon, any weapon, in his hand.

A pretty, white girl with red hair looked down fearfully at Cailan and he immediately lowered his knife.

"Hey, what are you doing up there?" He asked. What was it with girls and trees. That's two from this morning only. He really should start climbing more trees.

"Umm... looking around I guess." She answered, and jumped down onto the ground, right infront of Cailan, making him remember his earlier conversation with Arianna.

"So, are you going to be in the Deathball match?" Cailan asked, trying to stare at any place other than the perfect body of the girl.

"Yeah, but I don't have any partner yet." She answered, looking hopefully at Cailan.

"Well, you can join Timothy here if you want. He's... well, he already has a partner, but I don't think the others will mind if you join them." Cailan said, pulling Timothy towards Trini.

Her eyes lit up for a moment as she looked at Timothy and hurriedly blinked.

"Anyway, I'm Cailan." He said, extending his hand.

"Trini." She said, taking his hand and smiling sweetly.
