The Myth

PLOT

Two tribes that completely seclude themselves from the rest of society are nesteled in the Rocky Mountains, Alberta. They are small, only a few dozen people in each; and they are at war. That is the least of their problems, new rumours have sprouted in the modern world. There is a small group of myth-hunters in the area, seeking out the new tribes.
What will happen if the tribes are discovered is horrible. The whole villages will be ripped apart, the inhabinants captured and studied. Nobody, not even the tribe members themselves, know how they were started. They are mixed races, so that wasn't the reason.
Of course, there will be mischeif. Lines will be broken and betrayals will be made.
What happens is completely up to you.

THE SIDES
Tribe a: You inhabit a large area consisting of many different mountains and two streams. One area of your mounain in throughly forested and there is a very small patch of fertile soil in the center. You get around by mainly horse. Any age applies.

Tribe b: You inhabit another large area consisting of many smaller mountains and one large one. There is only one stream, but lots of fertile soil. You have a small forest in the northern region of your land. You get around by mainly horse. Any age applies.

Scientists/Hunters: You are searching for any tribal member you can get your hands on. You have all the latest technological advantages and transportation devices. Your ages can range from between 17 to 25.

CHARACTER TEMPLATE (TRIBAL MEMBER)

Name: Aliricia (Aliri for short)

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Tribe (a or b): a

Personality: She is a very quiet person who enjoys confusing others. Her life revolves around music and literature, as well as nature. She is a hopeless romantic, but it'll be hard to get her to open up to you. She likes to be alone and isn't afraid to put up a good fight. She often thinks rather deep thoughts and is very opinionated.

Likes: Nature, snakes, birds, wolves, the night, thunder storms, the sound of running water, music, her black cloak, dancing, music, literature, her sword and her horse.

Dislikes: Spiders, scorching hot weather, over-sleeping, people who are disturned by snakes.

Weaknesses: She is horrible at long-range fighting. She also isn't a very good swimmer and hot weather brings out the worst in her.

Gift: She can transfer her thoughts to others and read thoughts directed at her. (She cannot read thoughts unless they are unguarded or directed at her)

Appearance: Her, but slightly less...pefect...with a scar under her left eye


Up for Love: You know it

Other: Her scar was a prize of a battle with the other tribe. She has three pets; one female wolf named Mist, a red male snake named Gash and a white female horse named Blazer. She is rarely in the village and spends most of her time in the forest or by the stream. Her pets are the most loyal things you'll ever find. She is never seen without her cloak.

Name: Cheveyo White Hawk

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Tribe: B

Personality: Cheveyo is the chief's son, however he doesn't act like it at times. He claims he's a runaway when he messes with the women of the other tribe, just because he finds joy and laughter in that. He also loves to laugh. He loves to train other kids, and especially teach them to hunt.

Appearance: (at the bottom) He's pretty muscular, with long, black hair, a wide, dimple grin, and dark chocolate brown eyes.

Strengths: Amazing archer, and also great at close combat. He can sweet talk his way into anything, and usually out of it as well. He's the 'ladie's man' in his villiage, and everyone knows it. He

Weaknesses: He sometimes does things with his heart rather than his head, which has earned him a blind eye. Yes, Cheveyo is blind in his right eye, but you can tell unless you look closely. He is also keen to talk his way into fights, in and out of the tribe.

Gift: He's got the ability to control Earth-bound elements, like wind, earth, and water

Likes: Hunting, women, fights, family, friends, and y'know, night things like hunting mountain lions;)

Dislikes: His father's scoldings, boring lectures, being told he can't do something, and mopey people

Other: A pet mountain lion, names Sabe, and a pet wolf named Tyr

Name:Fallon

Age: 19
Gender: Female
Tribe: B

Personality: She is very empathetic, which ties into one of her gifts. She was raised to think that public displays of strong emotion are signs of weakness, so to people who don't know her, she seems cold. very passionate about what she believes in, and stubborn about it too. She is very protective of her family, and has a temper that on the rare occasion she lets it out, is violent.

Likes: Reading, playing her lyre (small harp), her horse and family, swimming, casting spells, the full moon in fall, lily of the valley, lilacs and other wild flowers.

Dislikes: Snakes (bad experience as a child), heights, falling, stupid people who waste her time

Weaknesses: She is so stubborn that she will stand by her views even if proven wrong. Her empathy gift can leave her physically weakened.

Gifts: She is a superb archer, prefers longbow. She is her tribe's healer in training, so she heals people magically, granted they get to her soon enough. She is an Empath, which means that she can feel the physical and emotional pain/feelings of others

Other: She has a pet red tail hawk named Rowan, and a sorrel mare named Trisani (Tris)

Age: 17 1/2

Gender: Female

Tribe (a or b): a

Personality: Strong willed, stubborn, and feminist. You don't want to get on her bad side. If you are on her good side, she is a loyal and honest friend.

Likes: Music, being busy, hands on things, talking, hunting, friendships, sunshine

Dislikes: Silence, boredom, rules, sexism, and people who just get on her nerves

Weaknesses: Stress and pain

Gift: Can control fire but not very well when her emotions run high. A little piece of advice, don't make her mad. She can also extinguish fires, but not instantly. The fire will still damage things.

Appearance: This minus make up and peircings, and add a purplish brown birthmark on her right shoulder

Other: Has two pets, a small grey owl named Amic, and a reddish horse named Liekki. Taught herself to play a homemade flute like instrument, made by her beloved grandfather.

I'll expand the ammount of people that can be in the tribe after we get at least 2 scientists.

Personality:Very sweet and understanding person kind gentle courageous has a very sarcastic sense of humor is not afraid to speak her mind and is very intelligent and persuasive especially with boys funny, optimistic, sassy, bold, courageous, and a good listener she has always been curious about tribe b and sneaks off to investigate every now and then.

Likes: Nature,boys, singing, being herself, fighting, and animals.

Dislikes: Scientists, jerks, asses and rude people

Weaknesses: She broke her wrist when she was very young and every now and then it will go numb she can force it to move but it isn't as effective.

Gift: Can control the earth, water, fire and air.
Appearance: Waist length ebony black hair. Eyes: Dark midnight blue Skin: Pale Body type: Fit and perfect curves in all the right places.

Other: She is very skilled with bow and arrows knives swords anything you give her she can fight with she is also very skilled at hand to hand combat. Has a pet wolf named Tamarisk called Tam for short and a raven named Iris. She loves to sing and can lull people into sleep or a false sense of security.

Personality: Charlie hates living in a tribe. He's always wondered about life outside the tribe and how different it is. The only reason he's living in the tribe is because he was born there and was brought up there. He has never been out of the Rocky Mountains but has always thought about it. Even though Charlie hates where he lives, he loves the people. His tribe are very important to him and he is extremely protective over them. He doesn't take life too seriously at all and laughs about everything.

Likes: Music, girls, boys, having a laugh, his tribe, playing a guitar that he made

Dislikes: Living in the mountains, arrogant people, nature, selfish people

Weaknesses: Charlie doesn't like being away from society. Therefore, he isn't always so eager to do tribal things like hunting. He doesn't take life seriously which can lead to some problems when he is in a serious situation.

Gift: Charlie can see earthbound spirits and has done since he was born. The problem with this gift occurs when he ignores a an angry spirit. It can wear him out because the spirits use their energy to do so, it sometimes even makes him pass out.

Appearance: Charlie cuts his hair short because he doesn't like looking tribal and long hair would annoy him. He has messy brown hair and vividly blue eyes. He is rather muscular and an average height.

Other: Cahata calls himself Charlie because Charlie sounds more normal than his real name. He hates how is name is a tribal name. Charlie's father hates him because of his hatred of living away from society. He also hates his son because he is a bisexual.

I'll make a guy.. from tribe a. He and Chahta/Charlie can be best buddies!!

Yay! The girl:guy ratio is 4:3 now, just saying in case anyone's too lazy to count it all up. That makes me happy, oddly enough.

Oh, and Isha, if nobody wants to be a scientist, you could always just make the scientists evil little NPCs.(: Just an idea for you, but if that isn't okay, I'll gladly make one if you need me to.

Name: Taylor Blackwood.

Age:18

Gender:Male

Tribe (a or b):b

Personality:He's really fun to be around and the kind of guy who always brings fun to the party. He's really charming with girls and really respectful towards other people. As he can be really fun and calm, he can also enforce law. He's leader material and he knows it and sometimes even takes advantage of that.

Likes:running, exercising, reading, photography, and of course making people do what he wants.

Dislikes: unloyal people, liers, people who breaks the law, being alone and silent.

Weaknesses: he trusts people too mucha and his inability to be alone and silent just makes it worse because it becomes a necessity to be accompanied all the time.

Gift: mind control, he can control people and people wouldn't even notice it, but he never uses it against people in his own tribe.

Appearance: He's good looking, very tall with a lean but muscular body. His eyes are kind of an indigo color, and his hair is brown, always tousled for he likes using it like that. His skin color is tan.

Personality: He's quite gentle-hearted; he strongly dislikes the rivalry between the two tribes and thinks things would be better resolved if they just sat down and talked things out. He's quite curious about the other tribe, however the disapproval of the Elders means he has never encountered someone from tribe B face to face. His opinions are often the focus of ridicule from the rest of the tribe. Is generally quite slow to act; he cannot think on his feet well; therefore is not a particularly valued member of the hunting team.

Likes: Campfires, hearing the Elders' stories, general tribey-ness and the sense of community.

Dislikes: Fighting other people, things happening too fast. People who are too hyper.

Weaknesses: As with personality - not a quick thinker or a great hunter. Prefers to contemplate things over a period of time.

Gift: Oooooooh. I'll come back to this...
