Khistopher
Alarm bells and yelling. Well that is never ever a good combination. Luckily she hadn't been sleeping so much as 'staying up way later then she should be reading.' So when the chaos begins, she's fully dressed, if not fully prepared. She grabs her weapon and is already taking slow, deep breaths as she steps out into the hall, mentally preparing herself for a fight.
The hall isn't teaming, exactly, but there are people making their way rapidly towards the area of attack. She falls in with the flow, one of the youngest people there but certainly not the least experienced. A couple of new faces greet her, confused and frightened in the hub-bub....new recruits to the team. She offers reassuring smiles and directs them where to go, usually touching a hand to their shoulder or back as they race away.
Then she's front and center before the chamber, and takes another deep breath as two men before her shove open the doors, feeling the familiar tingle of her magic flowing right out of her core and into her weapon. She brings it up with an easy heft, both hands locked around the hilt as it begins to glimmer brilliant pink.
Oh yes, my friends. Pink. And she likes it that way. No one else she knows has neon pink magic, and she's always felt it suited her. Pink in general does; a color that can be brash and vibrant, and yet soft and subtle, depending on the hue.
She jerks her mind from the color of her magic and forces herself to focus on the battle scene before her.
Vampires, Squad members, and Saul in his underwear, oh my!
She giggles helplessly, blushing as pink as her magic. "Never took you for a hearts man." She coos across the battle zone, before letting out a tiny scream as a vampire is on her. She pushes both hands- and the sword- out from her chest, and a pink barrier lifts in front of her. Her attacker bounces off harmlessly, and she then reverses her grip on the weapon.
"Sorry." She apologizes softly, and plunges the weapon down, through the vampire's chest. It evaporates, and she straightens, her attention back on the battle. And away from Saul and his brightly colored boxers.
