Leighton~

Nick and I walked back to the room and set up. My guitar was already there and so was Nick's keyboard. Mike showed up in a couple of minutes and so did Beverly. We got started pretty quickly after Bev and Mike saw the songs.

After a few hours, we sounded even better than what we did the previous night.

"I think that's good, guys." Nick said, after I stopped singing the last note.

"Me too, Nick!" Bev exclaimed, batting her eyelashes. I whipped my head around and gave her a look. Then, I remembered what Nick said about me.

This time his words were more like knives than a soft cloud comforting me. You need to have more confidence in me. Or did he mean to say "You need to have more confidence in yourself?

"C'mon Lei, party in an hour! Its almost 5 o'clock!" Nick said, knocking me out of my thoughts.

I looked around and blushed to see that everyone had already packed up and I was left standing in the middle of the room.

"You ok?" Mike asked.

I nodded and followed them out of the room.

June/May~~

i can't! Yes you can! i can't! but you want to..

I combed my mind with possibilities, I had run away at the sight of Matt and was thinking about something I could do. Asher was coming today and was definitely going to try something if I liked it or not. It was *how many days till the partY?* from Maria's birthday and I hadn't slept a wink. I looked in the mirror to find black half moons under my eyes. I couldn't hurt Matt, I hated the thought of it and sighed. I tried to go to sleep but couldn't thoughts ran through my mind at hyperspeed, my alarm eventually went off so I went out.

No matter what I do I will hurt Matt, and I am not even May any more so it can't be enjoyable for him. If anything I hurt him when May died and i am just going to keep hurting him either way. I am so stupid! Why are there so many friggen flaws?

"Good breakfast," I mumbled.

no one payed attention and Nick was talking to Mike about the stuff, great either way I could drown my thoughts in alcohol. I knew what i had to do, I swallowed my pride and jumped from my own window to the kitchen window, I jumped through and rolled, my balance was off.

Its the day of.

I just posted saying that its 5 o' clock in boarding school world. When does the party start? 6? 7?

Nick~~

"Thanks for the help," I told the nurse and gave a Jamie to her, I was not letting him near the party and he was smart enough to get through a locked door.

After I dropped Jamie off I went back to the dorms, and helped the others get the stuff in to the room. And a half hour later it was full, beer every where, all we needed was the birthday girl.

*I know short, kill me later.*

*poor Maria. No one remembered her birthday.*

Shannon

I woke up and went to see Maria. I knocked at Chad's room door because I was almost sure that they had passed the night together. Chad opened it.
"So, where's the baby girl?" I asked with a smiley face.
"Bathing" He said with a smiley face. We stud there, looking at each other, all happy. I think I was waiting for something to happened. An awkward silence passed by.
"So..excited for the party?" He asked.
"Yup." I simply answered.
"Oki..." He said. After a few moments we heard someone getting out of the bathroom Maria we said in unisom.
"Dear who is it?" She said while walking to the door. When her head packed i screamed "Surprise!"
She got scared, really scared.
"Shannon. Don't do that again." I instantly hugged her." Au!! That hurts.." She said again.
"Happy Birthday baby girl! " I said.
"Thanks." She answered.
Chad wasn't already there, probably gone back to the room. Only then I noticed that she was still with the towel around her bod. We said goodbye and she went to get dressed.

The hours passed and I helped the people to get ready for party. My birthday present for Maria was only being delivered to her later night. It was a big surprise...

We all stood around, waiting for Maria to show up. I wore my dress Mike bought me. Adam was looking at the bottles of beer like it was gold. The room (where is this?) looked marvelous. Balloons, streamers, and confetti was everywhere. I walked over to Shannon, who kept a hand on Adam so it wouldn't get drunk before the party even officially started.

"Hey, so what have we got planned?" I said.

"Lots. Including a few games of 7 minutes in heaven or spin the bottle." Shannon said, winking.

I smiled and nodded. Then, Maria walked in.

May/June~~

"SUPRISE!" The gang yelled as Maria walked, a little bit on the scared side out.

I smiled despite my dark thoughts at her and the others. Everyone was crowded around the smiling Maria, hugging her.

"To another year of lasting in today's crap hole of a world!" Someone yelled out.

"I'll drink to that!" Adam yelled. Honestly, I think he was looking for an excuse to drink. Where was Matt? I looked around and decided to give up, it would look bad for him if June looked for him like May. I walked over to Adam who was already unscrewing bottles.

"Got red bull?"

"Ain't it a tad early for corkscrew?"

"It's never too early," I smiled as I mixed the stuff he handed to me.


*BTW June/May is a hyper happy drunk who blabs alot and talks about everything. She isn't mean but isn't nice. She will hug everyone basically telling them they are her favorite person. Also, she is basically just crazy, doing anything that comes to mind*

Chad led me to a room (?). He hadn't left my side all day. Strangely, I only saw Shannon and Matt. I entered still looking at him, trying to figure out what was in his mind, until I hear a big surprised scream. It seemed to be...
"A party?" I whispered. Chad nodded and led me to my friends. Everyone congratulated me, and I quickly went to the alcohol. I opened a beer and drank half in a minute.
"Ah"
Then the music started. I noticed that Nick's band was going to play; he was setting up the volume and sound thingys. But they also put together a serie of playlists, so that the band could actually enjoy the party too.
I started jumping, and Shannon join me. June smiled at me, and I noticed she had a red bull in her hand. I smiled back and continued my crazy dancing. Then Lei got to the front and picked up a mic, and I saw Jazz at some corner. That made me mad. I did not liked my new roommate much.
I decided to concentrate on Lei and flashed her a big smile.

Note Nick does not appear to be wasted when drunk, he appears normal, just is very forgetful, and kind of rude.

Nick~~

"Adam pass me a beer," I said after our last set.

"Finally, thought you were a prick," He said and I chugged it in a second, and did the same with two more, "Impressive," Adam added.

"Good now come on party, you can bring beer with you," I said, as he had been at the keg for most of the party.

"So lets play," I said sitting down at seven minutes at heaven, with six pack of beers next to me.. I drank another one, and two more before we started the next spin. It landed on two people I can not remember, and then I chugged my last three beers, got up and drank another three, I was officially wasted.

My turn came on the bottle and it landed on Shannon.

"Don't touch her," Adam whispered in my ear.

"Okay," I said and we walked in the closet, I could she had been drinking too.

"So," Shannon said waiting for the minutes to end, but then suddenly I went forward, "Nick what are you-"

Before she finished I had kissed her, she broke apart though.

"Nick Lei, Adam."

"Who cares," I said and kissed her again, and this time she did not break it. Soon the door opened, and light flushed in, we kept going.

"Nick what the fuck," Adam screamed and pulled us apart.

"Who is Nick?" I asked jokingly.

"Well you aren't. He would never have done that to Shannon," Adam said and punched at me.

"To slow," I said as I moved away. then he punchd me a few more times, and I dodged more and more, "Come on man fight me,"

"You little," Adam said and got me in the gut, and then swung at my face.

"Why you little fucktard," I said and jumped on him, we exchanged punches as we rolled on the floor, fight over the top position.

"Hey break it," Someone called and we were pulled apart.

"Hey let me go you idiot," I said.

"No," He said and separated me and Adam.

Adam

I pulled the guy who was holding me back forward enough so that I could spit in Nicks face. Nick head butted me and the impact sent us both stumbling backward. Chad and Matt came and pulled us both backward helping the guys that were already restraining us. I realised the guy holding me back was Jack as well as Chad.

"you shit" I shouted over to Nick. we both tried to pull over to each other.

"Irish trash" Nick said back.

"I don't go kissing Lei do I you twat" I snap back at him and try to kick him he's to far away.

"hey calm down don't mess up Mario party" Chad whispers in my ear. I nod and and stop pulling now just standing here. I can still feel Jacks muscles tensed ready if I try to get and Nick again. Shannon comes up and wipes a my lip that's bleeding.

"I'm sorry Adam I-" she starts to say but I cut her off.

"go away you slut go fuck Nick I'm sure he'd like it girl on girl, shit on shit, whore on whore" I'm cut short by a slap across the face from Shannon who then walks off into the crowd but still kind of over to Nick.

"ass" Nick says as they lets us go Jack still stays close though and Matt looks like he's ready to pounce if he needs to. I quickly grab two six packs and head toward the door already opening one and chugging it down.

"were are you going?" Maria says as she steps slurring the words she's wasted too just like half the people at the party.

"for a drive" I say and try to walk past the thought that I shouldn't be driving vaugly crosses my mind but then its gone.

"can I come with" She says slurring the words and wobbling slightly. I shrugged and wandered aimlessly over to my car that I opened. I swung the door open.

"birthday girl first" I said when I wasn't angry I was always a happy drunk.

"how gentleman like" Maria said even through her slurs I could hear the sarcasm, I tried to do a slide across the hood but fell off the other side I got up and into the car and me and Maria were both laughing as I started the car.
I started to drive very quickly along the highway.

"do you wan to go to a motel or something" I said reaching back for another beer but the six packs were both gone.

"oops" Maria said gesturing toward the empty cans at her feet she'd had at least four more than me. I laughed as I pulled into a motel. The manager behind the table looks at us questionably but says nothing. until we start to head off.

"no trouble right?" he asks and me and Maria just both laugh and nod as we walk over to are room. I give her a long kiss as we stumble in and fall on the bed, I open the mini fridge and down three of the mini bottles of vodka I cough a bit them burning my throat as I stumble back over to Maria and kiss her again and start to take her t shirts of as I do she puches me away.

"I shouldn't be doing this Chad" She say.

"do you really think Chad isn't dancing with some bimbo probably the second he saw you had left he got his real party on" I drunkenly whisper into Maria's and and I kiss her again us both rolling over. We continue to kiss and then

*wow this is getting long*

I wake up my and it feels like my head is hammering into my skull and my throat is made out of sandpaper. I stumble dazed into the shower and turn on the cold water letting it run over me I let my teeth chatter a bit I open my mouth and rinse it with the cold water. When I feel more awake I get up and walk back out to the main part on the motel. out of the window it's twilight and the suns only just starting to rise but at this time of year that won't take long. I go and pull the cover up to go back to sleep but see Maria their naked and it all comes back.

"shit" I shout jumping back and dropping the cover Maria rubs her eyes and sit up when she looks at me I see the same worry and shock from my face mired on hers.

"you talked me into it" we both shout at the same time.

"no it was you" we shout again in unison.

"I'm not taking the blame" we say in unison. Then a though comes to me.

"neither of has to take the blame,look it's only 5:30 we can drive back and go to are rooms and just make it seem like you went home from the party early and I had a fight with Nick so you know" I say hatred filling my thought as I say Nicks name.

"look take my key drive home quickly, I'll walk or something" Maria nods and quickly gets dressed before she leaving I have to pay a reasonable some to the manager since we drained all off the drinks in the mini fridge. I start to walk home the events of yesterday flooding back. I winder if me an Shannon are no longer an item I think as I remember what I said to her.
